Ash's most ignored Pokemon

    The topic of discussion is... well.. the title of the thread.

    Which of Ash's Pokemon do you all think were ignored in comparison to others? We all know that Pikachu is the one making maximum appearances, as he is the mascot. But some don't really make many appearances. Ash's Pidgeot for example. The regional birds are usually victims of this ignorance of the writers. /bows down to Vernikova. Are there any other Pokemon do you think which were ignored?

    Primeape is his most neglected pokemon IMO. Even before he left, Ash seemed to have forgotten that he had caught him until Brock reminded him about it when the P1 Grand Prix was mentioned. And he didn't get mentioned at all in A Tyrogue Full Of Trouble when all the gang seemed to have forgotten all about the P1 Grand Prix.
     
    It's probably like CliveKoopa said, Primeape or maybe um... Pidgeot? (as pidgeotto?)
     
    Actually when I said Pidgeot, I meant that Pidgeot including its pre-evolutions didn't get a lot of screen time.
     
    I only saw his kingler a couple of times within the series (although i dont watch it very often anymore) also i'm going to have to include the pidgeot as well
     
    Well, he did use one of the Tauros a couple of times (Orange Islands match against the champion, and I recall some festival somewhere, sometime).

    I don't recall seeing Ash using his Starly/Staravia/Staraptor that much, but seeing that he evolved it to it's final form, and that I didn't saw much of the anime after Johto, I can't say much :B
     
    Muk because at least Primeape was on Ash's team for a while.

    Muk spent all it's time at Oak's lab.
     
    N-no!!! Pidgeot....It's been ignored for centuries, while these new bird Pokemon get the glory. TEAM PIDGEOT OVER ALL! P.S. Team Staraptor, Team Fearow, and Team Swellow suck.

    Really? I saw Muk most of the time when Ash gave Prof. Oak a phone call. To me, Muk definitely wouldn't be one of the most ignored Pokémon Ash has right now.

    I will agree with Primape and Pidgeot for all the reasons mentioned above, but I would also like to add Kingler, Mamepeto, and as of lately, Totodile and Bayleef.
     
    I say Primeape and Pidgeot as well. I'd also like to add Tauros to the list. Kingler, too, because it was used in only a few important matches. I'm also including Mamepato.
     
    doesn't ash have like 30 tauros? those have to be his most ignored pokemon

    pidgeotto was ignored alot, it was rarely ever allowed to battle and only came out to foil team rocket's ballon

    Still though it was only in 3 or 4 episodes so really there wasn't enough of a timeframe for it to be classified as ignored.

    Personally I would give it to Totodile. My memory is fuzzy but I haven't seen it since it was left at Oak's. No potential sniff of an evolution or even a recall of any sort. It's a shame as I thought it had some great personality back in Johto.
