Yeah, I believe that it is the same one, and probably the herd leader. And I think the Pokemon have been training at Oak's lab anyway. ^_^

I was so ****ing confused when I first found out that Ash had 30 Tauros in the Anime (I was about 10 at the time) because of the episode before it got banned :O

But yes, I agree with everyone in that it's the same Tauros everytime and that it's the herd leader.

He captured a whole herd of rampaging Tauros when he was in the Safari zone.
I think it was shown in a banned episode.

until I found out about banned eps, I didn't know Ash had a Tauros herd. But it probably is the same one. BTW, he caught them in Safari Balls right? How come whenever he sends one out, it is a Poke Ball?

Duh, because he switched the balls when nobody was looking.

The Tauros he uses (as everyone has said) is the herd leader.
