It's because people think Chimchar is strong if it evolves. Apparently taking down Drifblim, Bronzor, and the unholy steel serpent who just won't die means nothing in the eyes of the fans. (Off topic speaking of Unholy Steelix the third mascot of Pokemon, it's going to appear in DP110).

Chimchar is VERY strong the way he is...but do u think the writers are allowing him to evolve to control that over poser he has unleashed and lost control about twice or three times before???

Control blaze...he has to evolve? This will be the third or forth...or fifth time I've said this XD That would be Glalie with Ice Beam all over again.

Honeslty I do not care if Chimchar evolves or not, I like the little monkey pal just the way he is...I just want to see an episode where Paul is crushed by Chimchar... and it might be possible that some of these figures could be wrong, but who knows...I would really like it though if Staravia evolves though...

I was reading through this thread, if the trend goes, as most of the series has gone, Then ash will most likely evolve his Staravia, like the rest of his bird pokemon, if chimchar evolves, im pretty sure it'll be the same effect as charizard, wild and ruthless

I have to disagree with u on Chimchar there, I honeslty doubt they will go through that whole disobeying thing with ash again, especially since they already have Dawn going through it with her Mamoswine...

@ Akio...yeah it'll be like Ice beam and Glalie all over again, but what other reason would they give Chimchar to evolve...I mean if not for controling Blaze then I say don't evolve Chimchar at all since he's already strong as is...right?

I personally think that Chimchar might evolve. It would help it to control its power and Paul might get a nasty surprise if he throws out a chimchar, then two weeeks later, an angry infernape is knocking on his door :P
