Ok, I brought a asia slim PS2 but the plug won't fit into my wall socket. And I know people in America are playing the asia system. But I can't figure out how to fix this. How do I fix this. Do I need a special exsension cord? Or would the main plug in for the Amercian slim PS2 work?

Because the slimline PS2 uses a power adapter (A/C adapter, power brick, whatever you want to call it) rather than containing a traditional power supply, you might be able to use an American power adapter rather than getting a voltage adapter.\

If you have an SCPH-90000 series model, then you will need a voltage regulator, because it does have an internal power supply.

Don't Asia and America have the same voltage, as in, you'd be able to hook a SCPH-90000 right up to the mains?

I've got a SCPH-50000 fat PS2 and have to use a stepdown converter in the UK. But we have a higher regular voltage.
