wow and I thought it was actually pretty nice lmao. But I wasn't exactly expecting Moribito/FSN levels of fight choreography here so I guess that worked out for me =p Or maybe I got caught in the intensity of the fight, too haha.
I binge watched from episode 4 to 18 today. Was nice. I cried in episode 16 when *someone* died. ;____; She was such a nice character. And Koro sensei's narration was just...heartbreaking. ;____;
Well, I wasn't so impressed with this episode, the engrish was really strange, specially when mixed with the americans talking, all felt rather awkward. A bit of an anti-climax after the impact the last episode had!
So, we reached the end. Due to the super spoilerish ending I'm gonna add another layer of 'spoiler', I don't really suggest you to go ahead if you haven't finished the show.
Spoiler:
It's been a while since a shounen manga has ended with an ending that could fulfill my expectations. I kind of noticed where everything was going due to the nature of the show. Also, there was no 'trap', the story always hinted the ending somehow, even though some hope remained that something could be done to avoid this tragic yet beautiful ending.
What I liked the most was the fact after Korosensei dies they take a whole episode to explain how things went on. We see what happens with Class 3-E and the rest of the school.
The money, the moon breaking little by little, the insert song, KARASUMA AND *****SENSEI MARRIED, RITSU IS THE NEW HATSUNE MIKU, minnasan's come of age stories, NAGISA BEING A TEACHER YES (he went the Great Teacher Onizuka route), etc.
It broke my heart in a million pieces how they decided not to have a tomb because 'they still live' thanks to the school existing.
