Hammer Arm makes for a nice counter to Trick Room plus Superpower's decrease in attack and defense is awful. He makes a pretty bulky Pok?mon with a high HP stat. I did some calculations for standard Pok?mon seen online in doubles. Let me know what you guys think of this niche set.

The one thing I don't like about Assault Vest Emboar is the fact that Flare Blitz whittles it down a lot faster than normal, which emphasizes the problem of Emboar's lack of reliable recovery in general.

That's true. It's the same problem I have with making my bulky Incineroar. Idk how much good it'll do to have a Pok?mon to heal pulse it. Honestly though, in a fast meta like doubles, taking out 1-2 Pok?mon is more than enough to get the job done.

Fire Blast or Overheat is another option over Flare Blitz. However, that might be better for singles, since in doubles the sheer power of Flare Blitz is more appreciated. Same suggestion applies to Incineroar too.
