I have a few changes proposed for my wifi build on this team listed on the bottom, let me know if they will be good or not.

Anyway, here's my 2nd attempt at building an uber team,as the first one just didn't work out. I'm sure you all know of my rather unique style of battling and not really going with the boring ol' same 6 pokemon people seem to choose everytime (namely Kyogre, palkia, dialga, deoxys, darkrai, and latias). So here's my team

    *image removed*
    Mewtwo @ Choice Specs
    Timid
    6 HP, 252 Sp. Atk, 252 Speed
    Aura Sphere
    Ice Beam
    Shadow Ball
    Thunder

Mewtwo with choice specs rips the hell out of any non special defensively geared lead. Aura Sphere rips Dialga like tissue paper, Ice beam makes flying and dragon types think twice, shadow ball tells Giratina to go fly a kite, and Thunder is specifically for Kyogre.

    *smogon.com link removed*
    Mew @ Leftovers
    Calm
    252 HP 38 Sp Def 220 Speed
    Baton Pass
    Hypnosis
    Rock Polish
    Swords Dance

If I can manage to pull of 2-3 turns with this thing still alive, then...well....lets just say that I'm sure nothing will want to switch into whatever one of my beasts I send out. I decided to take out Taunt for another boosting move simply because my only real threat is Lugia for phazing, and I think another boosting move will help as Mew is slightly more sturdy then my sweepers are. But I am considering dropping swords dance for Taunt. Again, I could also use some help for the EV's as I'm thinking on taking out speed and putting more into defense.

    *smogon.com link removed*
    Lugia @ Leftovers
    Bold
    154 HP, 252 Def, 104 Sp. Def
    Ice Beam
    Light Screen
    Roost
    Thunder Wave

Since Lugia is my only wall, I made it able to take on physical and special attacking things. Rarely do I ever find something that can take this thing out easily. Thunder Wave cripples a lot of things so my sweepers can outspeed them with ease. Light Screen protects me from even the strongest special sweepers. Roost and Ice Beam are pretty self explanitory.

    *image removed*
    Groudon @ Life Orb
    252 Atk, 4 Def, 252 Speed
    Adamant
    Dragon Claw
    Earthquake
    Rock Polish
    Swords Dance

My Groudon is a beast if I can get a rock polish in. It outspeeds pretty much everything and rips it apart with either a STABed Earthquake or a super effective Dragon Claw. I don't really see the use of Stone Edge because the only thing that would really help much is with Lugia and Ho-oh (tell me if I forgot something). Groudon should not be tangling with Lugia (unless I already set up but even then, I'd have to be lucky enough to have 2 swords dances) and Ho-oh is rarely seen, and a swords danced dragon claw should do good enough damage.

    *image removed*
    Ho-oh @ Choice Scarf
    252 Atk, 252 Speed, 6 Sp. Def
    Jolly
    Earthquake
    Punishment
    Sacred Fire
    Sleep Talk

Ho-oh is so rarely seen its quite unexpected. I gave Ho-oh jolly to outspeed those other choice scarf users who think they can still outspeed with an attack boosting nature. Anyway, if I got Groudon out, Sacred Fire rips through lots of things sides like Kyogre and Palkia. Earthquake hits other things good, and Rayquaza switch ins are never a problem because my Lugia can always counter them with a thunder wave. Punishment for annoying calm minding Latias and Mewtwo. Ho-oh is sort of my gimmicky sleep absorber, as it should be able to leave a huge dent in Darkrai, then quickly switch out.

Last but definitely not least comes.....

    *smogon.com link removed*
    Rayquaza @ Life Orb
    252 Atk, 6 Def, 252 Speed
    Jolly
    Earthquake
    Extremespeed
    Outrage
    Swords Dance

A swords dancing Rayquaza is immensly deadly, especially if I got a rock polish from mew. It utterly destroys everything imaginable. The main thing that's ever stopped this thing is the increasing wobbuffet I'm seeing. There just isn't many things that can take hits this powerful.

This team is my current shoddy build. I've won about 1/3 of my games, but I'm still not completely an expert at ubers so I'm learning new techniques every game.

THESE ARE MY PROPOSED CHANGES FOR WIFI, TO FIT IN WITH A METAGAME WITH ARCEUS.

*smogon.com link removed* Lugia @ Leftovers (replaces my other Lugia)
    Calm
    252 HP, 6 Def, 252 Sp.Def
    Ice Beam
    Reflect
    Roost
    Thunder Wave

Lugia is usually seen as a physical wall, so I have the element of suprise on my side. Lugia does have the speed for being a special wall, so I think it will work out just fine. I never was a Blissey fan =P.

    *image removed*
Arceus @ Life Orb (replaces Ho-oh)
    Adamant
    252 HP, 252 Atk, 6 Speed
    Extremespeed
    Earthquake
    Swords Dance
    Shadow Claw

As much as I hate to admit it, being that Ho-oh is just one of my favorite ubers, Arceus just plain outclasses it. It has better stats in every area except for special defense, and slightly lower attack (swords dance fixes that), it has better type coverage, and hits much harder with a swords dance. I really did want to keep Ho-oh, but there just isn't anything lower I can afford to take out sadly (at least I don't see it).

    *smogon.com link removed*
    Giratina @ Leftovers (replaces Mew)
    Impish
    252 HP, 244 Def, 12 SpD
    Will-O-Wisp
    Rest
    Sleep Talk
    Dragon Claw

Giratina isn't seen so much in shoddy due to Lugia being a better physical wall without Arceus around. It's quite self-explanitory, being able to Will-O-Wisp physical attackers, and rest/sleep talking stuff. I gave it dragon claw because it has better coverage over pulse except for things like Groudon. I decided to make it replace mew because my 3 physical sweepers can all boost themselves up.

Well those are my planned changes for my uber team for wifi battles, if you guys can somehow find a way to keep Ho-oh in (and not taking out groudon), it'll be much appreciated ^^.

Just watch out on using Thunder when Groudon has come in after Kyogre and has switched to this guy, as Thunder's accuracy makes it like a Zap Cannon, which Mewtwo can;t afford to miss.

If you get taunted, this pokemon is gonna run into trouble. Might consider a attacking move.

Too few attacking moves for something that should have at least 3. Consider Fire Punch>>> SD as a 3rd move.

I couldn;t help but notice u forgot EVs on Ray and Ho-oh, you miht want to bring those up. Also, you only have 1 special atacker in your lineup. Do consdier taking out Ray every now and then for one.

Oh shoot, thnx for reminding me, k I put the EV's on.

Also bear in mind that I changed the nature on the wifi lugia to also mark the change. I'll give it reflect. I considered Fire Punch on Groudon but it just really doesn't hit anything too hard, even with sunlight, compared to a STABed Earthquake. For anything else that's flying/levitating (sides Lugia and Ho-oh), dragon claw hits super effective.

Ok on Fire Punch, I just feel like LO sets should have 3 moves, but w/e. Since Groudon is a defensive beast, however, maybe consider Solarbeam in there. Does plent of damage at 120bp, doesnt rewuire charge thnx to Drought, and 100 base Sp. Attk. on Groudon makes it a decent choice for Groudon coverage. Also, after Mewtwo is gone, Groudon gives your team problems, so please consider Solarbeam.

Solar Beam is a horrid move, not only does it have horrid coverage in ubers, but coming off Groudons pitiful base sp.attack (In uber terms) its barely going to scratch anything.

Use one or the other on groudon, dont use BOTH Rock polish AND Swords Dance. Groudon needs all the coverage it can get

Use Stat up move /Dragon Claw/EQ/Stone Edge

    Last edited:
Which stat up move should I keep on Groudon? Rock Polish really boosts up Groudon's speed to outspeed nearly everything, but swords dance with life orb really rips everything apart. What to choose, what to choose.

Rock Polish grants you originality, however; you didn't state you were attempting to be original IIRC, so go SD >>> Rock Polish. EDIT: Oops; didn't see Mew, but whatev. :<

Well I think that kinda states that I like to be original =P. Anywho, I really don't see the benefits of Stone Edge on Groudon. Lugia are almost always built to counter Groudon and I can OHKO Ho-oh with a SD Dragon Claw.

Stone Edge is preferable on Groudon for coverage, and so you DON'T have to use a SD to OHKO Ho-oh, rather OHKOing it immediately.

    Mewtwo @ Choice Specs
    Timid
    42 HP, 252 Sp. Atk, 216 Speed
    Aura Sphere
    Ice Beam
    Shadow Ball

Good, but 216 Speed EVs is all it needs. Just be aware that most Kyogre leads are ScarfSpout variants, and (don't quote me on this) But I'm pretty sure it outspeeds and will more than likely OHKO.

    *smogon.com link removed*
    Mew @ Leftovers
    Calm
    252 HP 38 Sp Def 220 Speed
    Baton Pass
    Hypnosis
    Rock Polish
    Swords Dance

If I can manage to pull of 2-3 turns with this thing still alive, then...well....lets just say that I'm sure nothing will want to switch into whatever one of my beasts I send out. I use a similar set, with Aura Sphere >>> Hypnosis. Always fire off a Rock Polish first, because even if you are in danger of dying, you can simply BP out and pass the boost.

    Nice.

    *image removed*
    Groudon @ Life Orb
    252 Atk, 4 Def, 252 Speed
    Adamant
    Dragon Claw
    Earthquake
    Rock Polish
    Swords Dance

My Groudon is a beast if I can get a rock polish in. It outspeeds pretty much everything and rips it apart with either a STABed Earthquake or a super effective Dragon Claw. Maybe you could try the SDSalac Groudon, it's a very effective set that I use myself:

    Groudon @ Salac Berry
    Adamant Nature
    EVs: 120 HP, 132 Atk, 252 Speed
    - Swords Dance
    - Earthquake
    - Dragon Claw
    - Brick Break/Fire Punch/Stone Edge

The idea is to SD up until the Salac kicks in, boosting your speed. Rips teams apart if use well.

Okay, maybe you could consider pumping some EVs into Sp. Def/HP >>> Speed with leftovers, as Ho-oh isn't the fastest thing in the world, and as a status absober it needs to be bulky.

Last but definitely not least comes.....

    *smogon.com link removed*
    Rayquaza @ Life Orb
    252 Atk, 6 Def, 252 Speed
    Jolly
    Earthquake
    Extremespeed
    Outrage
    Swords Dance

A swords dancing Rayquaza is immensly deadly, especially if I got a rock polish from mew. It utterly destroys everything imaginable. The main thing that's ever stopped this thing is the increasing wobbuffet I'm seeing. There just isn't many things that can take hits this powerful.
Maybe try Mixquaza, with Hasty/Naive @ 40 Atk, 252 Sp. Atk, 216 Speed w/Draco Meteor, Fire Blast, Outrage and Extremespeed. You can put a few extra EVs into attack to give an extra boost to the physical moves.

Nice, use whichever you prefer, not familiar with Lugia tbh.

Very devastating set, consider Silk Scarf >>> Life Orb for that extra kick on ES after an SD, OHKOs many things you might not do normally. I use this myself, so if you need a Semi-Legit UT Arceus, I can hook you up. Not hacked by me, of course.

    *smogon.com link removed*
    Giratina @ Leftovers (replaces Mew)
    Bold
    252 HP/216 Def/42 Sp. Atk
    Draco Meteor/Dragon Pulse
    Shadow Ball
    Calm Mind
    Rest

Giratina isn't seen so much in shoddy due to Lugia being a better physical wall without Arceus around. It's quite self-explanitory, being able to Will-O-Wisp physical attackers, and rest/sleep talking stuff. I gave it dragon claw because it has better coverage over pulse except for things like Groudon. I decided to make it replace mew because my 3 physical sweepers can all boost themselves up.
I find this Giratina works well, EVs take care of the physical side and CM keeps the Sp. Atkkackers in check. STAB Drago Meteor from this will hurt after a CM or two, and simply rest off the damage. Consider Sleep Talk over one of the attack moves if you're worried about not waking up in time.

Well those are my planned changes for my uber team for wifi battles, if you guys can somehow find a way to keep Ho-oh in (and not taking out groudon), it'll be much appreciated ^^.

Changes in bold. I noticed that you lack alot of firepower on the Special side, so I've tried to fix that a bit here.

Deano, I could definitly use an Arceus, I'm getting wifi installed on sunday, so let me know. Btw, I tried return on Ho-oh, it doesn't hit anything harder that one of my other three moves can't. I'm gunna try the bulky Ho-oh and see how it works. Also I tried subsalac Groudon, problem is that with only 90 base sp.def, It's not a gurantee that salac berry will even kick in, I find that rock polish works better as it ups speed up by 2 levels.
