Hmmm... That's something I hadn't really considered...

However, the problem is that Mewtwo will need 31 IVs in HP for the 416 stat, and mine only has 23... Unless I try and get another one... *Dreads the thought*
 
you still can get 101 subs, you'd just need more EVs.

For some reason they say "half" it's hp. But 404 divided by 4 =101. Unless you can actually divide it down further. (Two times max).

Then there would be no point in using it...reflect>barrier anyways. Still, that won't be nerfing Mewtwo. It has respectbale defenses, not great by any means, but good. You'll have to hope for a ch or you'll be in trouble. Meh, the nerfed sets should be worth using. Maybe an all-out Pseudopasser? Like I know...

can i ask wot the point in this sorta OU uber wud be? why wud u wanna use a phyical attacking mewtwo? whats the point? you said it yourself, it isnt as good as other pokes out there, so it wud get nailed straight away. this is just a pointless thread

You have no right to say that. Grant was seeking to nerf Mewtwo into an OU, it is almost like using a VERY speedy Support Pokemon or Physical Pokemon. 130 Base Speed means it will be used in some way with it's diverse movepool.

Also, I didn't understand 40% of your post.

Agreed. First off, a spell-check would be lovely. Second, 130 base speed and 110 base attack is better than many OU physical sweepers, even the likes of aerodactyl. I hate when people make these kind of claims that have no research at all and are useless themselves. Nameless is totally right. BTW, smarties would've locked the thread instead of posting several times if it were pointless.

And why not a sunnybeamer set for mewtwo? It would give people a chance to hit it hard or switch...worth considering at least.
 
Ooh, a Sunnybeamer... I didn't even think about that... He's one of the few non-grass types that can actually use that combo...

However, his Sp. Attack almost makes that too powerful.

Brvae nature with 0 SAtk EVs weakens it more than you'd think...oh! oh! low IVs too!

Um, I don't understand what the hell's the point of weakning Mewtwo? Why would you limit it's abilities and stats just so it could fit into OU? That's like giving Weavile Ice Beam, Cut, Quick Attack, and Rock Smash and calling it OU. Really, why try to even make Mewtwo OU?
 
Maybe you should read the WHOLE thread. Mewtwo is his favorite. But he dislikes Uber matches. Instead of stating things like "this thread is pointless", why not help, or don't post at all.

As Anti said, the Moderator of this forum posted here, and while he thinks its a bad idea, he left the thread open, so it can't be that pointless.

Exactly. I'm getting sick of this nonsense. Maybe THAT'S why I'm leaving, so I don't lose my head.

As for mewtwo, a pseudopasser would be the best nerfed mewtwo if you didn't wanna mess with getting horrid nature and IVs, since there are better OU pseudopassers.

I'm thinkin' of an annoyer, since they aren't great to begin with. Maybe toxic, recover, boltbeam? I dunno, that's not much of an annoyer, just throwing stuff out there. Thunderdancer???
