Issue: Auto Disable Smileys on Mobile

    So I made a thread a while ago about how to automatically disable smileys in all future posts, and I found the button in User CP which is all good, however I've noticed when using a mobile device that it doesn't work... In the post, the little box to disable starts ticked, as it should, but it doesn't actually disable the smileys, they still come up in the post...

    When I tried it, it was in a VM, so I'm not sure if in a normal post does this as well, but I thought I'd let you know in case something is broken, or maybe it isn't meant to work...

    :/ Yeah, it does that for me in VMs too. The mobile theme (assuming you're using that) isn't finished and profiles are a little broken on it so I don't think the modification we made so that the disable box shows up was added to it yet. I imagine it will be whenever someone gets around to actually mobile-izing the profile page.

    1. A lot of people (myself included) hate how they look.
    2. It's a few extra images to load which doesn't seem like a lot but can be if you're browsing on mobile.
    3. Does it matter and is your question relevant to this thread? :/
     
    Yeah I'm using the mobile theme.
    But yeah thanks for clearing that up. Do you know if it works by manually checking the box?

    Hey there! You seem not to like me so much and this is unfortunate. My suggestion is to just not take it so seriously, it was meant as a joke and not to be a numbered argument about relevancy and who actually does and doesn't like smilies. I'm sure tons of people don't! So don't worry .moments I'm not even judging you at all. If you're taking it this seriously I'm so sorry dude. I meant no harm so don't cry because then I'll cry and we'll all be angry and crying.

    Sorry, I've just seen people post that sort of thing on these threads before and seriously mean it... and then seen the same people ridiculing people who really dislike smilies. So I kinda jump at those things. :P
