Simon doesn't watch enough SG-1.
The quote
"It's O'Neill with two Ls. There's another Colonel O'Neil with only one L. He has no sense of humour at all." came from the show when Jack was talking to a reporter saying he was going to tell the world about the Stargate. Later in that episode he got hit by a car and died (my bet, the CIA whacked him. Gen Hammond said it was an accident, but the CIA has ways of covering things up).
 
Oh that episode. I've seen it. How am I suppose to remember every fricking quote out there? --
 
SG-1 is Stargate-1. It's a sci-fi show that's been running for eight seasons and is currently on its ninth season. There's also a spinoff of it: Stargate Atlantis.

I haven't watched SG-1 or SGA for a while now. And I probably won't until January, for reasons obvious to those who've been paying attention to what they did on Sci-Fi.
