For a long time, my avatar hasn't been working. The upload fails or something. I think I've seen others with the problem, who had it fixed long ago, but due to my lazyness and/or lack of initiative, I haven't seen to get it sorted out till now.

So, can someone please help me to get this thing working again, so I can have a proper theme.

For a simple test, have you tried uploading a different avatar? Maybe it is the avatar you are try to upload.

You're probably one of the few who have set wrong file permissions on their avatar file, thus vB not being able to overwrite/delete the old file.
That's something only Kwesi and Steve can fix, or if you wouldn't mind loosing your current user ID, your account could be merged into a new one, with a new ID, making you able to upload things again aswell. This is something all Admins could do for you.

User ID being the number at the end of the URL of my profile?

If so, I'm fine with that, it's nothing important to me.

give (attach or link to) me the avatar image you want or let me know which one of the PC ones you want. I'll see what i can do to straighten this out for you.

[edit: well the default avatars do work.. so either attach or link me to your requested avatar file and we'll see what happens.]

If you don't care for your ID number (yea the number that's at the end of your profile link) then start a new account, send me a PM with the username (or link) to the new account and I'll merge the two for you (the only thing that'll change is the ID number). It'll fix your avy prob.
