Thanks! I thought she looked really cute in the pic.

Also, last nights was a really funny episode. It had lots of cool things. Also, Asuka is sleeping in one part. She looked so cute. <3

Did I mention that I got the first two volumes of NGE on DVD from the library? I plan to brush up on the uncut version <_<;

Shinji tries to kiss her asleep....and looks at her boobs.....

Shinji likes Asuka, and it's quite clear Asuka likes Shinji from the fact that she always acts like she hates him....I don't get why, in the whole series, they don't just let their AT fields down and date?

BTW, if you've seen the ending, then you understand the AT Field comment... if not, well, just think of it as an Angel Metaphor. ^_^
 
Eh, Shinji X Asuka is kind of inevitable because of how distant Rei is...but Shinji will probably determine who he would like more depending on the number of times he's seen them naked <_<;

AT Field is Absolute Terror Field, that's all I know at this point XD

If I was in Shinji's position, I wouldn't have hesitated, not even for a second. I would've just gone for it right then and there. XD

Slightly off the Eva topic: Is it just me, or does grown-up Kanami Yuta vaguely resemble a brown-haired Lacus Clyne? O_o;
 
yup, Angels Generate their AT fields from....

Nevermind... just, once you're through with the series, watch it again. Everything will seem very different with all the mysteries unraveled... and will seem much more Symbolic.....
 
I plan on watching it again whenever I can...I can buy pirated anime DVDs off of ebay so I can get an entire series of anything for $20-$30, perfect quality XD

I am not entirely unknowledgable on Gundam SEED, as I saw the last three episodes that were on CN before they replaced it with Rurouni Kenshin, so I can say that she does indeed look somewhat like Lacus Clyne...she was rather pretty, though; I like what the animators did to her.

I only have one question from the end, though...is Straight Cougar alive or dead? I know he was there watching the battle from a distance, but it looked like he went limp after talking to the boys...I wasn't sure if he was reclining in his chair or whether he suddenly died o-O
 
If you want to send me an eBay version, i'll gladly take it as a Christmas present....

Then again, then i'll have to explain PC to my parents...

So it wasn't just me who thought that Kanami looked like Lacus. Considering the fact that s-CRY-ed initially aired on Japanese TV in 2001 and that Gundam SEED didn't come out until a year later, don't you think that grown-up Kanami might've been an inspiration for Lacus? O_o;

As for Straight Cougar, well...I believe they deliberately left it vague. He could be dead, or he could still be alive. Who knows?
 
Watching them acheiving full syncro was great.

Of course, it's really cool that Asuka moved in to Shinji and Misato's house. Shinji gets to see her every day now.

Also, looks like we'll be getting more Asuka in the next episode. <3

It would be interesting to see if any of the character designs for s-CRY-ed had any impact on the character designs for Gundam SEED; since the same animators did both shows it's entirely possible. It would be a good move because, since adult Ms. Yuta was only in there for a few seconds, most people would forget if it was a ripoff on any level.

Better Cougar than the Kazuma vs. Ryuho being ambiguous, I was so upset when I thought I wouldn't know whether they lived or died.

I e-mailed Pure and she says she didn't ban me. Gloom and the Minineko guy were nice to me, I'm going to bother Pure and the one who banned me anyway. I've just e-mailed Ech. May I post Pure's response to my mail?

I'll have to reexamine both series in order to see parallels. They're gonna rerun s-CRY-ed on Adult Swim again and they still show Gundam SEED every other Friday, so I'll be on the lookout for similarities between the two.
