Hey, how goes.

Used to lurk here then I made an account and forgot about it some time ago. I've been busy making a small hack for Pokemon Red in the interim, mostly doing easy stuff like changing wild pokemon and trainer levels. Nothing too special.

I might as well use my introduction post to ask a stupid question: Now that I've finished my first hack, where do I post it?

Thanks for helping me out here. I hope to meet some good people and maybe even get better at rom hacking here!

Check out the Hacks Studio if you want to post your game. You'd make a thread in either the main Hacks Studio forum or the Progressing Games subforum depending on how far along to completion your game is. Be sure to read the rules of both areas so you know where your game would fit best.

Of course, welcome back too epseta! Congrats on finishing your first game. :D Pretty awesome and requires a lot of work so major kudos to you. I've never made one but it sure as heck looks like it requires dedication haha.

If you need more help you're welcome to ask the staff members, otherwise we hope you'll enjoy your experience and stick around longer this time.

Nice to see you posting, then! Welcome back to PC. Small hacks are probably good to start with. Pokémon Red, not FireRed? That's brave! I've heard that most start with FR, but I'm really not well versed in the hacking business myself so haha. I hope that you found out where to post your hack and that work is going well! Have fun c:
