4th Gen Azelf and the Pokemon League

    Well, I've made it to the Pokemon league, and I can't get past Lucian's Medicham. I need the National Dex to bring Bill, my level 92 Blaziken, in via Pal Park to tear through the E4. Here's my plan:

    -Get past Lucian
    -Get to the Champion,
    Spoiler:

    -Use Lucario's Roar until I see Spiritomb and Garchomp
    -Lose

    But, the problem is that I still need to spot Azelf. I've done this:
    -Used Dialga's DragonBreath (Paralyze)
    -Switched to Sneasel (Yes, a Dark Pokemon >:-D )
    -False Swipe until at HP 1
    -Switch to level 60 Empoleon
    -Fling a nest ball at it.
    I got three shakes on a good try. I need help with this, and if I use Pal Park how will I get Bill?
     
    Hm, so you CAN get the national dex before beating the E4? pretty cool. If you don't catch it it's not the end of the world. you just need to see all pokemon in the Sinnoh Dex to get the national, so don't worry.
     
    Well this thread is kinda Pointless.......Also keep in mind to have seen all the pokemon in the shinoh region as well
     
    Well that's just it, you don't need to catch them all so you could ignore azelf as long as you've seen it.
     
    Try using quick ball on the first turn. Worked on all three for me. ^^
     
    In caves Dusk Balls are always at least as effective as Nest Balls would be (and you have to be 50 levels higher than your opponent if you want Nest Balls to reach the efficiency of a Dusk Ball.) so how about you just stick to those instead? If you still haven't caught it after 30 turns you can also use Timer Balls, which will be as effective as Dusk Balls then.

    Actually I'm pretty sure you need to have seen every Sinnoh Dex. Pokemon AND beaten the Elite 4 to get the National Dex.
