Bad eBay Auctions

Seeing as though there are multiple threads mad about bad eBay auctions, here is a thread for them.

Here are some from before.

What you should really do is to e-mail eBay and point out these are poor copies of the originals.

I do. But since there are so many eBay reports everyday, a lot of them just get tossed, or are read when the auction is over. Plus some are just funny, like that FireRed one.

The Silver version is funnier, since that was never released on GBA - it was a Game Boy Color version only. Fire Red one is actually believeable, which is the scary thing, it's convincing enough that if you don't know people would think it was the real thing and buy it.

Why do people get away with making phoney games? And the eBay people aren't even bothered to deal with them?-_- This is wrong!

But if you can't complain to them, then who can you complain to?

It's not that they aren't bothered, it's the sheer amount of scammers they have to deal with on a daily basis that means some people get overlooked. And because there is a huge amount of people out there willing to try and sell fake merchandise, enough people will get away with it.

As for why people do it, it's probably just to make money.
