There are a lot of frustrating things about GO: the glitches, the downtime, etc.

All that aside, what irks me the most is the fact that I have to throw out GOOD items just to make room for more Poké Balls. I don't know about all of you, but I like to horde my items...

So, have any of you upgraded your bag to store more items yet?

Do you think you'll ever need more than 350 items at once?

    I upgraded pretty early on.

With that said, you might be able to get rid of a lot of your Revives (if you're not fighting enemy gyms constantly) and as you get higher you could easily use lots of simple potions healing just one of your pokemon in order to bring your item count down.

However, I still do all of those things and benefit from having the larger bag.

To me, it was worth it. I horde items in whatever game I play. I'd rather not have to spend a bunch of time worrying about it in this one.

I upgraded once by mistake thinking that it'd be more useful than it was and I do quite regret it now - 350 items is a lot as long as you're ok with throwing stuff away occasionally and whilst it does suck to have to throw out old potions and revives, I feel like you get enough of them to make sure you never run out regardless. In short I wouldn't recommend the upgrade, especially not getting more than one of it.

I upgraded a few times because I do not want to be that guy who runs out of Poké Balls on a rare encounter.

Sitting on 90 Poké Balls, 82 Great Balls, and 40 Ultra Balls at the moment, with 128 Razz Berries.
