3rd Gen Bagon?

I'm looking for Bagon in Emerald, and I know it's in Meteor Falls. I've tried every pathway, but I can't get to the "Back Room" (that's where to find Bagon according to Bulbapedia). I have eight badges and I haven't beaten the Elite Four. Can I do it without being the Champion, or do I have to wait?

It takes a bit of wandering around, and you need to use waterfall to get there, if I remember correctly

According to my Emerald Game Guide, Bagon are common in rooms 2, 3 & 4, which is basicly all the rooms except for the main one you enter in the start.

To find Bagon, you need to enter Meteor Falls first. Then from there, go up the waterfall and head through the door it leads you to. Then, you'll need to go down the ladder that is there and head upwards to another ladder. Now you will notice some ledges that you can jump from. Stay to the left and you'll find another ladder that goes down. Surf upwards in the area that it leads you to and enter the first door you see. That will be the back room.

Also note that Bagon has a 25% encounter rate, so you may have to be a little patient. Does this help?

You need to have a Pokémon with the HM Waterfall. After climbing the waterfall in front of you (toward the top, up a few flights of stairs), there's the door to the backroom. Just search around and you have a 25% chance of encountering Bagon. You don't need to beat anyone to do so. It's as simple as that.​

That is a false rumor. All you need to do is be in the back room of Meteor Falls.

After you enter Meteor Falls, Go up the Waterfall, once you get to the top, search around for a cave opening, enter inside, then use Surf over to the Little patch of land on the other side, the spot were you got TM Dragon Claw. Search around, Bagon appears to be around the mid 20's to low 30's in level. Hope this helps

Thanks for all your help, everyone, but this thread was kind of pointless seeing as I found Bagon as soon as I realized that I had already been to the back room (pretty much right after this thread was started) but I didn't have acess to the Internet after that. Thanks anyway!
