    Bakemonogatari

Very unique story, very unique artwork not to mention well developed characters, humour and a bit of tense action. You can tell from my opening sentence that i really enjoyed this series, what did you think of it?

If it's not as unique as i've made it out to be could you please point me in the direction of something like it please? Thanks.

Oh, this was one of my favorite anime. It has catchy theme songs, lovable characters and awesome dialogue. What's not to like? Though 90% of the dialogue can be pretty boring. Example: Mayoi Snail part 2. D|

    I prefer for Nadeko Snake part 3. : D

i actually liked the "boring" dialogue

Eh, I liked most of their dialogue that contributed to the story, but that's it. I don't like them talking pointless things about Polygamy and such.

I don't really recall any of the dialogue being pointless, i thought it all served its purpose very well.

There was too much dialogue and talking, but it was nice to hear. I liked this anime because of the female protagonist only. xD

The dialogue I found to be very intriguing, and the voice acting for it was superbly done. Music was nice as well, especially the ones played during dialogue and the ED (one of the best I've heard). Nevertheless, the middle three storylines of the five - Mayoi Snail, Suruga Monkey, and Nadeko Snake - were very awkwardly done probably because of the probably rushed production. I mean, half of episode 10 were the pointless "cut cards" showing. I greatly enjoyed the first and last arcs, but I can't forgive the middle three.

Still, Kizumonogatari will probably be amayzeeng.

Oh, yes. The DVD version of Nadeko Snake is amazing. Nadeko with snake action! And yes, Kizumonogatari will be awesome. Too bad no Senjougahara, though.

I only just finished watching this. It's the first anime to catch my interest in months.

I liked the length of it. When I see an anime that has 25+ episodes in the series it puts me off watching it because I don't want to spend that amount of time watching unless it has a god-tier storyline. So I liked how there was only 15 episodes.
The dialogue is what made the show so good for me, they concentrated more on the characters and their development rather than just turning it into a senseless demon fighting anime with nothing more to it than a pretentious action scene every 5 minutes. All of the characters were perfect for me, and they still managed to keep the plotline intriguing all the way through despite mainly concentrating on characters and their conversations.
The animation style was interesting so I enjoyed that a lot aswell.
Only complaint I have is how they had quite a few episodes where Hitagi was barely included, she was the best character and should've had a notable role in every episode, imo.

I disagree with that. If Hitagi was on every episode, she'll overshadow all of the other heroines. We will then never get to hear Kanbaru and Mayoi's quirky remarks (especially Kanbaru), also, remember that Hitagi wasn't at all present in the Nadeko Snake arc? It's because that arc was a build up to Tsubasa Cat, and that contributed to the storyline. I especially like the ending of Tsubasa Arc, Hitagi would seriously overshadow Shinobu. In the original novel, the reason Shinobu disappeared in the first place was because she felt helpless. She only helped a little during the Suruga Monkey arc in which Hitagi totally rocked, so yeah.

    Spoiler:

I don't think she should be everywhere all the time in every episode, just still noticeable. As it was, she was excluded for too long I think and it's not really required to exclude her that much just to prevent her overshadowing over characters. Mayoi didn't get given much development anyway so I don't think including Hitagi more in that arc would have much of an impact. I can understand why she was around less in the Suruga Monkey arc, but I think even just slightly more conversation between Hitagi and Kanbaru wouldn't be so bad. I don't understand why Hitagi being absent in Nadeko Snake is necessary for a build up. I was satisfied with her appearances in Tsubasa Cat though.
Of course I don't think she should be following Araragi around like a lost kitten, but I would have preferred her to be around more often.

Actually, the author also felt that Mayoi didn't get enough development that's why Mayoi Jiangshi is in the making. Think about it, their conversations are swaying around to repaying debts to love (polygamy, but still love).
Ahah, many people are also annoyed at Nisio Isin for that. They only talk to Koyomi, not to each other. Nadeko was originally a friend of Tsukihi's right? They didn;t even talk, and Hitagi and Nadeko haven't even met. Also, Mayoi never even talked to Hitagi, Kanbaru and Nadeko even though she met them, and so forth, so yeah.

Following Araragi like a lost kitten is Hanekawa's job. :P
