2. In that case shouldn't that attack always count as 50+? If you count the Kricketune (th attacker) it is always 50+ and never 40+.

It would be 50+ if it were worded like, "This attack does 50 damage plus 10 more damage for each other Kricketune and Kricketot you have in play."
