    Welcome to my battle log everybody!

    Not only is this my first time making a Battle Log, but this is my first competitive team I've made! This battle took place on ShoddyBattle against someone by the name of Tommaster125. He is not a member of PokeCommunity (I don't think) and I found this battle both close and exciting, especially considering it was my first win with this team!

    Yes my team consists only of UU Pokemon, but I like the challenge and the added surprise it gives my opponent. And yes I use UU Pokemon against OU Pokemon if you haven't figured it out from my last sentence.. =P

    So to start the game I send in my usual lead Drifblim while Tommaster125 sends out Quilfish.
    I was actually quite surprised as I have never battled another UU Pokemon before.
    This makes things more interesting...

    Quilfish uses rain dance which means that I am facing a Rain Dance team. (duh..)
    I use Stockpile to raise both my defenses so I can pass them on.

    He had to lay down Toxic Spikes didn't he?!
    I knew I was in some trouble as I don't use a Rapid Spinner, so I'd have to get used to being Poisoned this battle.
    I use another Stockpile because I can.. =P

    I knew I had an advantage here. My Special Sweeper had just entered the battle field with +3 in each defense!
    He won't be going anywhere soon.. =P
    I knew that I could finish Quilfish with a single shot using Charge Beam which would also raise my Special Attack
    so I was fairly confident!

    The clouds part and the sun comes out, the rain is gone...

    Well Bibarel to my surprise survived the explosion thanks to Drifblim.
    I know that whatever Bibarel will faint next turn so I may as well leave him in and try and get an attack out..

    Bibarel bows down in defeat after losing 10% of health...
    I wasn't feeling too good at this point having my Special Sweeper taken down without dealing any damage at all.
    I now know what my opponents Physical Sweeper is and quite frankly I am a bit scared...

     I send in Drifblim not thinking straight and attempt to boost my defenses again.
    I got lucky that Stone Edge missed and know that I must get Drifblim out of there!

    Drifblim is unable to stay awake and passes out. after losing 48% of his health..

    So Toxicroak nails Drifblim knocking him out... I feel kinda bad and confident at the same time.
    Drifblim died but now I know that Toxicroak is carrying a Life Orb which makes it quite dangerous
    and harder to get a safe change in.

    So right now I was feeling pretty proud about myself. I was originally going to use Psychic so I avoided what
    could have been another death, this time my Special Wall so I was relieved.
    Grumpig is a Rest Talker so I thought I'd go for another Calm Mind then go to sleep....

    Ok that was unfair.. The dreaded critical hit has got me and now I have no Special Wall,
    Special Sweeper or Baton Passer due to this silly toad... I am quite annoyed and feeling like I am about to lose.

    Well I was kinda afraid of Stone Edge and I didn't know if Dodrio could outrun him...
    So Toxicroak's wrath is over, now we can return the physical sweep with Dodrio! ;P

    So Dodrio hits big to finish up but unfortunately my Physical Sweeper is gone...
    So I am thinking that Nidoqueen is a Physical Tank, Wall thing so I wanna take her down ASAP!
    Now that she has Stealth Rock support, it is going to be hard to keep switching so I need to finish this quickly.
    I decide to send in my favourite sweeper!

    So Sharpedo takes down Nidoqueen and what's more is my opponent is likely to believe that he is a Special
    Sweeper now... =P Another one down, 2 more to go... I am feeling nervous at what he could possibly have left.

    idea what he has left up his sleeve... I decide that I haven't got any Rocks support which I could use yet so

    Well I am up 2-1 with a bit of a sweeper and a Physical Wall. It all comes down to what the last Pokemon is!
    I think that Sharpedo can get some early damage in before fainting so we need to hit hard!

    So Muk gets a fast attack out for Super Effective Damage... Too bad he barley dents Steelix.. Earthquake
     however does big damage although I wanted a OHKO... Oh well unless he can pull out a miracle, Steelix will
     finish him next turn...

    Pros:
    Dodrio is an awesome Physical Sweeper!
    Steelix can take Super Effective, Critical Hits and not even lose 50% of his total health!
    Cons:
    Bibarel didn't do anything...
    Grumpig died due to a Critical Hit...

    Wow, 28 views and not a single reply, that's terrible.

    First off, you spoiled it before it even began with "especially considering it was my first win with this team!" Let them read on to find out the result, don't give it away in the beginning. ;D

    Kuggles, the enter button is your friend, you can use it. XD In other words, it's crammed together. o_o" The dividers help, but not much. Space the commentary from the health score and such. Kudos for using my format by the way. ;D You obviously put a lot of time and effort into this, which I admire for your first battle log. Putting health and status at the end of each turn isn't used much these days, so I really like that you did that. Pros/Cons were okay, would've liked to see more of a review however. Size one for commentary, didn't really bother me, but reading, size 2, size 1, size 2, size 1 and no spaces anywhere but the borders. (Log, Commentary, etc, etc) Isn't that nice on the eyes, took some time to adjust. But maybe if it was spaced, it'd probably be fine. So, really, the negative in this log would be spacing I guess. Use the enter button and preview it to see if it'd be better on the eyes. Or maybe I'm just uber picky, that's just me. :D

    Overall, I really enjoyed it. And most definitely for seeing one of my favourite Pocket Monsters, Sharpedo. But you know what my favourite part about the formatting, taking out the line "yaydayada misses" and adding it up to the attack to; "Toxicroak used Stone Edge! and misses..." (b' ')b
    Nice add. You customized the log, you put loads of effort into this, all in all, pure awesomeness.

    For your very first battle log, you did a wonderful job, Kuggles. Well done. :D

    Please, I swear to all that isholy, stop using tiny text! Why do people on this site do that with every post! It is highly inconsiderate towards the people that reads your posts. Remeber, when you post, youpostso that otherpeople can read it, not so you can read it. Now I gottastruggle to read your posts? You think your so great, that you get to make us squint to read what your golden words say!!!

    Phew. Sorry. That was aimmed at everyone who types in tiny text in every post. As for you, yeah, that makes it very hard to see your comments, and makes the log look very cluttered.
     
    BeachBoy: I didn't even realize I put the "win" bit in there...
    I originally had it spaced out but it was difficult to see where the turns began and ended...
    I'll need to play around and get a good combination.

    Sims: Sorry about that, I was going to use different coloured font but it looked odd...
    I will use "normal" font next time.. =P
     
    I mean, its a real good battle, just...couldn't read it well.
     
    Nice battle! I really admire people who use UU teams, as it seems everyone's the same these days. It gets very boring when everyone is using 'standard' teams.

    I love using UU teams mainly for the surprise factor. Most people don't even know what some UU Pokemon are capable of and some people don't even know what moves they are packing. They just ease up prediction in some instances.
