Dude, no offense, but just redrawing a picture doesn't take any skill... Draw your own original, or digitize it, or do something slightly... Different. O.o
Yeah...I cant really say much here. The first thing that caught my eyes were its legs and how in a way the sort of, but not entirely, have a slight round to them, yours does not..and the leafs around its neck are really that well...Have it make it seem like they are growing out of its neck.
i know i know your not trying to be mean you speak the truth don't worry I'll try not to copy so much anymore only when im interested in things that make me wanna draw em
Nice drawing! : D Y'know, I do the same thing. XD I can't draw without copying the picture in front of me. XD Just keep drawing and drawing the same pose, then it will come to you in your head, and you won't have to copy. : 3 Plus then you can start your own poses! : DD
You might've gotten the same message from different people, but here's what I have to say. It's a wonderful drawing, just be more creative, and you'll be okay. =)
I have to disagree with some of these people who say it takes no skill to redraw a picture. Redrawing a picture is no different than looking at a person & drawing them. You still need to pay attention to details. I know I cannot hardy redraw a picture at all.
Of course, it is a good thing to try your own poses, but just because you can't doesn't mean you have no skill. I think you did a wonderful job on this picture. Maybe, one of these days, after redrawing pictures so many times, you'll be able to memorize features of Pokemon and not have to refer to anything. That's how I started out and became.
Regardless of whether you traced it or not, it looks neat! And a well done copycat version of the picture. But like it's been said, try to alter it a bit, maybe have the same sort of stance but have it doing a move.
