. . . and tbh, I have you guys to thank for it, in a roundabout, convoluted way.
At the start of the holidays, I decided to become more active here. I came out of my shell, started posting outside PFF&P, and made some friends. It's been great, and I had a great holiday because of it.
But it's inspired me to do the same thing in real life, as well. Usually I don't actually get along so well with the majority of my classmates, but today I took a leaf out of my cyber-self's book. (not the gender-bending leaf, don't worry XP) I greeted people with a smile and asked them how their holidays were, and I got smiles back. When people laughed at something dumb I said, I laughed with them instead of ducking my head and sighing like normal. I spent half of Maths discussing the advantages of different broadband packages with someone I don't usually talk to that much. My whole day felt great.
It's not like my life has changed. But it was a good day, and if I can keep it up, I can see change happening for the better. I have my cyber-self (believe me, I am a very different person online) to thank for my newfound confidence, and I have you guys to thank for my cyber-self's newfound confidence, so it comes back to you in the end.
So it's a big shoutout to all the amazing new friends I've made since I crawled out of PFF&P, as well as all the cool people I've met but haven't got around to befriending yet. <3 Luv ya, guys.

And I tagged this with 'libra' because Chris needs some real tags, instead of tagbandited ones. :3
