Best Fire, Grass and Water starters?

They are all so close stat wise anyways. But...
Fire-Charizard
Water-Ferligatr
Grass-Torterra
 
Grass: Venusaur
Fire: Blaziken
Water: Feraligatr

Water- Swampert (thought i love the other water starters)
Fire-Charizard
Grass-Sceptile(and torterra because of movepool)
I like all of the starters except for venasaur (i never really liked him much).
 

This is my order.

Water - Feraligatr :t160:> Blastoise :t009:> Swampert :t260:> Empoleon

Grass - Meganium > Venusaur :t002:> Torterra > Sceptile

Uhhhhhhhh..........Shadowsvengance, this is the "Favorite Starters Thread."

But anyway, for me, it would have to be:

Sceptile>Torterra>Venasaur>Meganium(I still love Meganium, just not as much as the others)

Thyphlosion>Charizard>Infernape>Blaziken(I haven't even used Infernape, but I still like it better than Blaziken)

EMPOLEON>Swampert>Blastoise>Feraligatr(I love Feraligatr, but not as much as the others, sound familiar?)

P.S. Empoleon is my favorite Pokemon
 
And Venonat isn't grass type :P

Anyway, I love Gen 1 so Blastoise and Charizard are up there. Seriously, who wouldn't want a DRAGON or a MASSIVE TURTLE WITH BUILT IN CANNONS?

Unfortunately, Venusaur is Fugly So I'll go with Torterra. Tbh, I prefer all of the Grass starters in their first or second forms (Bulbasaur, Chikorita, Grovyle and Turtwig I like, but not really any of the third stages)
 
Fire ; Infernape
Water ; Empoleon
Grass ; Meganium

I'm not big on most of the starter's third evolutions, but I guess I have no choice.
 
What, only third evolutions?

Venusaur - I'm not a fan of third evolution Grass starters, though I love all the second evo ones. (Except for the fourth generation one) I pick Venusaur because Meganium looks kind of plain, and Sceptile looks strange.
Feraligatr - It's a badass alligator thing, what do you mean it's not awesome?
Blaziken - Come on, it's a Kung Fu chicken.
 
Fire: Charizard, Typhlosion/Blaziken, Infernape

Water: Wartortle (don't like Blastoise), Feraligatr, Empolean, Swampert

Grass: Never use them, but I'll rank them how they look - Sceptile, Torterra, Meganium, Venusaur
 
For fire, Typhlosion. I too, think it's a cool-looking fire type. The fire starters are definitely my favorite since all their fully evolved forms look really cool, and they're all really good sweepers.

For Water, it's Blastoise. In my opinion, it's a really good pokemon, even if it's in the UU tier. It may not be the best, but it is a really good Rapid Spinner and a Mixed Wall too.

For Grass, it's Meganium. I really like the way it's designed. And it doesn't have that kind of um... "evil" look to it. I couldn't find a better word, sorry. xD

If we're talking about battling, there is no best pokemon, your pokemon's strength depends mostly on how you use it.
 
I would say that the best grass type Pokemon is Treecko or Sceptile, the best fire type Pokemon is Cyndaquil or Typhlosion, and the best water type Pokemon is Mudkip or Swampert. I like Treecko or Sceptile because of how it looks, I like Cyndaquil or Typhlosion because it looks cool, and I like Mudkip or Swampert because of the types.
 
Mine are:

Grass:It's difficult to choose just one grass starter (I like all of them; they have some of the best designs in the series IMO). But Meganium edges out the competition here for being the first fully evolved starter I ever got.

Fire:Charizard by a mile. Seriously, nothing beats a fire-breathing dragon. Typhlosion comes second, Infernape third, and Blaziken brings up the rear for being one of the ugliest Pokemon ever.

Water:I don't use these guys too often, so my choice is going to be fairly difficult to make. I guess I'd say...Feraligatr, followed by Blastoise, followed by Swampert, followed by Empoleon.
