I want to get back into the anime, I've really only seen the first couple of seasons and Battle Frontier. I want to get into the modern Anime but I don't know where to start?

Well my honest opinion is to start from the beginning and watch it in order but with most seasons being fairly similar to past ones you really start anywhere and be fine.
If i was to pick a spot based on that logic though, I'd say start with the first season of DP (season 9 or 10 i think) since you've already seen the Kanto, Orange Islands (Johto?) and some of Hoenn sagas. This would be a good reintroduction back into the anime, as this saga is, imo, top 2 of all the sagas.

If you're not willing to go all the way back to the beginning, I'd say maybe try the most recent season of the anime, which is the Kalos saga. All seasons start off differently, and all pretty much have self contained continuity, anyway, so it matters not where you jump into the anime, I just recommend Kalos because it's the most recent.
