Neither of them, my favourite game is Heart Gold and Soul Silver!

But between those, I think Platinum. Yeah, I love Crystal, Gold and Silver, but Platinum is better for me because of modern technology these days... Not 8-bit and those beeping songs.

Only game i find better than those 3 legendary games.

D/P/PT, all I cay say is "awesometastic". I was like WOW MAN while playing diamond after so much time since I lost my FR and stopped playing pokemon.

I don't see how everyone thinks Platinum is the best game, because it's really not. Sure there's the Battle Frontier and more stuff to do after the E4, but the storyline sucks and is very boring.

Now that that's done with.... I prefer the first two generations over all of them, and that does not include FireRed and LeafGreen. Now I will probably vote for one of the 2nd gen games just because it kind of adds Kanto into the end with the gyms and stuff, but the first two groups of games were the best, hands down.

Who said the Storymode sucks?! I found it pretty extense and enjoyable. It's just your opinion. And I choose games mainly because of gamplay, and a little because of modernity.

Platinum has 493 pokemon, G/S/C had 251. G/S/C had a large storymode...
If both were released in the same time, then G/S/C ands down. That's why I prefer HG/SS.

It's Gold/Silver for me, and it's not even close.

I voted for Crystal. Second would have to go to one of the Stadiums, follow that up with Yellow, and then FRLG, Emerald, and RB. I haven't played the 4th Gen yet, but I will say I despise most of the new Pokémon and it's doubtful that Platinum will be able to pass up Crystal for me...plus those graphics are gonna take some getting used to. I almost think I prefer the classic 2D to the pseudo 3D. :-/

Fire Red. Its the only game I have ever gotten that I actually bothered to run through more then twice. I love the Kanto region, so logic states that I should love FireRed.

Crystal fanboys in the house! WOOT! Crystal is hands down the best all the way, followed by Yellow. And to be honest, I refuse to play the 4th gen games. They seriously ran out of names... Turtwig? REALLY??? But whats even better is Bidoof, well lets just say my friends make quite a few jokes about that name.... And in the first and second generations, it was actually possible to get all 151 - 251 pokemon without going overly insane. 493 is just way too many...
