best pokemon rpg game?

Should be more specific when asking about things like this. There are different kinds of fan games that focus on different experiences and gameplay aspects, and they aren't inherently better or worse for that, it just depends on what you're particularly looking for.

You want Fakemon? A good story? A new region to explore? An 800+ Pokédex to complete? QoL and game mechanics from modern games and everything as updated as possible? 200 hours of post-game? A challenging game with very difficult battles? A fan remake of an official game? etc.
