Best Substitute/Reversal (Focus punch) Pok?mon

Because it just is...

It has a higher attack stat than both of them, it hits 405 unboosted IIRC..

After a +1 that is 607(.5)

Tyranitar CAN hit 403 unboosted, but usually people put some EV's into his defences and HP, which makes him slightly less dangerous (As most Salamences are MAXED in Atk).

Err... I think you mean boosted...

>_>

Last I checked he hit 403 unboosted, with a + attack nature.

That means boosted. Amusing fellow. What makes it funnier is the ">_>" face.

<_<

I thought boosted was a stat boost

I think the thing about Tyranitar is SPEED. Bleargh. Err, anyway, if you meant boosted in that way, then nvm.

What about a cb Slaking? If you are good at predicting, you can endure a hit to 1 HP, then switch out. Later you can send him in and use Flail. Then switch out and Flail again after one of your pokes faints. Choice Band acts as a permanent Liechi boost, so it's fine to switch out. Make sure it has max speed EVs and a Jolly nature, since it doesn't get Salac. I'm not sure what the best moveset would be for a Flailking, but I think this could work out. Take care.

P.S.
Slaking@Choice Band
-Endure
-Flail
-Reversal
-Something Else

I'd have to work on this.

Slaking doesn't need Rev/Flail to get OHKOs so it's redundent (and risky)

You want to do that, you should use Vigoroth, at worst.

and slaking has a sexy amount of HP and decent defenses

lol, yay and i already posted the flailing/reversal vigaroth, but even w/ stab its attack seems kind of low for flail, so i sometimes switch out salac for liechi, but then the speed (being the same base *80), is low w/o salac, so i suggest u just use blazkein, the only real good STAB flailer/reversal that can mix sweep

vigaroth, not slaking...
scizor:
swind, (or hp bug) since swarm will activate/hp rock (for flying and fire types) (flying types resistant to reversal, or for the fire types that can 1hko scizor)
endure
reversal
