Best/Worst PokeBall/Luck With a PokeBall

horror stories,
your wonderfully amazing stories,
which PokeBall works best for you (DOES NOT COUNT MASTERBALL!),
and which is worst for you

All revolving around PokeBalls, all the many types of them ^_^

Horror Story:
Shiny Hippowdon shows up, breaks out of Quick Ball... all i got left are Luxury Balls -_-" failed to catch, it double edged itself into non-existence :'(

Awesome Story:
I fought Lugia on my SS rom (still waitin on Hard Copy :( )
and used flash,thunderwave combo& lowered its health to 11 (i got pics on my profile) and my ultra balls,& dusk balls failed miserably
i throw a random normal pokeball for laughs& caught it XD

Worst Ball for me:
Luxury Balls,i cant catch squat with it :(

Best Ball for me:
Quick Ball, its basically a master ball for me lol

i did the same but with 1ultra ball, 1net ball, & a pokeball on Arceus

only works on pokemon who evolve with moon stone :(

I've only had a positive ball experience that I can remember, and that was getting Rayquaza with my first thrown Great Ball, it being at full HP.

For good balls in general, I'd always used Ultras all the time so I wouldn't know, haha; but, while I've always been too lazy to bother with the specialist balls and only expected them to be as good as a Great Ball against Pokemon they're designed to catch (when actually they're better than Ultras), I actually found once using a Net Ball that they are really good...
For bad balls, I don't know, I'd guess Luxury but truth be told I've only ever used one... don't even know where to get them in numbers (Sapphire ver.), or even if I can, heh.

The best balls for me are quick and net. Quick has let me down many times before (like when I tried to catch a skarmory in SS) but net always catch the pokemon I want..or just wanna catch cause they pissed me off and I will give them a horrible name.

I caught Groudon first round without attacking.. I've had luck with a great ball in a previous file on him, and I thought it was a glitch. I've caught Dialga second round in a pokeball after Infernape giving it a chuck norris style mach punch. also caught gratania, Regirock, Regice, Mewtwo, Kyogre and i thnk Rayquaza and Azelf. I did also catch mew in pokeballs in red, but since that's usually the only way to get it then, it doesnt really count. also got Suicune in Crystal in a great ball, and also an azelf in diamond.

A Quick Ball has never let me down. However, those Ultra Balls... don't work so well for me. I sound like an idiot saying Ultra Balls aren't effective, but they just don't work for me.

worst:Saved infront of giratina in the distorsion world.its a shiny.i've got no pokeballs. aw #@#$@#

Most annoying:caught a shiny lumineon, saving and game shuts off

Best: Catching Azelf with a Dusk Ball (but burned about 10 before capture, one of my quickest, though.)

Worst: Trying to catch Suicune with an Ultra Ball, I wasted about 75 (out of 99) and then KO'ed and realized I had a Master Ball (fail). Good thing I saved right before battling it...

Poke Ball of Choice: Dusk Ball.

Best Pokeball: Dusk Ball. I manipulate time on my DS to use these when I need to. 4x, plus what damage I do? I caught Entei and Raikou really, really quickly with them.

Worst Pokeball: Net Ball. I got Kyogre down to about 1 percent, and paralyzed it, before chucking them. They all failed, and the Dusk Ball I threw afterwards caught it.

OMMMMGGOSH. Well, yesterday I caught a legendary (Suicune) with the first pokeball (a net ball *kisses that thing*) I ever threw at it! That's never happened to me before! I was so excited!!!

I virtually always use Great Balls against anything too strong for a Pokeball - Ultras always seem to miss the Legendary Birds for me, while Great Balls work fine. It's like the first time you get the Good Rod after getting the Super Rod and think, "Oh, this will catch better stuff..." -_-;

Horror:
Moltres in FireRed. Don't know how, it was really hard to catch.

Awesome:
I caught all legendaries in Pokémon Red with Poké balls.

Worst Ball:
Luxury Ball. I never caught any Pokémon with that.

Best Ball:
Quick Ball/Timer Ball (In Diamond I got all the legendaries with Timer Balls.)

worst: 3 days getting kyogre, even with 30+ ultraballs... but turned out to be the best one ever lol

best: got rayquaza the next day when i just decided to throw a great ball first :p

worst ball: ultraballs. i hate them so badly, i have decided to ONLY use pokeballs and great balls

best ball: the classic pokeball is literally all i use now, except for must-haves, where i risk a great ball.

i remember in yellow i missed ditto 97 times with ultra balls, threw a great ball.... caught it thats a pokeball WTF moment lol

Worst - took me ages to get Zapdos, I used up 50 Ultra Balls 3x before catching it.
Best - I caught rayquaza with a Master ball, then decided i wanted to save the master ball for later, so i restarted, and caught Rayquaza on the first try with a Great ball.

Worst ball - Pokeballs. Are you all forgetting this?!
Best ball - Luxury balls, they are very useful for happiness based evolutions, which i hate.
