FireRed hack: [BETA 1 RELEASED] Pokemon Infernal Legend

I have to say this is the best pokemon hack I've ever played. It taught me the value of slakoth and challenged me at every step of the journey (albeit short journey). I eagerly await the finishing of this hack.

I just have one qualm with it, and that's the idea that you are shutting down villian academies just by winning in a fight against them. "Oh no... I lost once... time to close down the entire operation and go into a dark corner and cry" I mean... it seemed like an awkward concept. I loved the motivation of closing down villian schools, but you know... it always was like, "Ummm... I... won?"

What? Slakoth? I beat the entire beta with Torchic :D. Also, these a ton of permission and tile errors. Oh and I got physically stuck in the game once. I would get screens but I'm too lazy to. Oh and the electric gym was so annoying I had to advance map my way into it. Try lowering the difficulty of that gym. Although I think Nintendo made that. Other than that I had a lot of fun. I hope you get the time to finish this.

The stroy behind the magma academies is that they recruit Team Magma members. Some of the directors were forced to join, some joined because they thought they thought they had nothing to live for and some joined to keep their towns safe.

The reason that they close once they are beaten is because Team Magma finds pathetic and weak and they just ignore them because they have bigger focuses.

Since the academies were gyms at one point in history, they still give out badges which are kind of seals of graduation.

Fixed the errors ages ago. I made the puzzle and it's not hard, it always works for me at the second switch (it can never work at first). Maybe, you're just unlucky :P

Also, does anyone know which trainer sprites at Porject Platinum are for public use are which ones aren't? (I want to avoid any issues)​

It's the person who made the sprite (so he did himself as a trainer) and that's all I'm saying :P

That's the plan.
It will definitely have all the Legendary Pokemon from the 386 Pokemon.

This isn't a remake of anything.
And no Battle Frontier.

I assume you think it's a Remake of Ruby since Team Magma is in it, but these are the descendants of the original Team Magma, over 50 years after R/S/E.

But this is a new game, not a remake.

Thanks, the music is kinda GBCish, but that's due to voicegroup issues and I think it sounds pretty good in the voicegroup, but if I feel like it I'll hex edit the insturments, but a least the drums sound correct.

Yeah, those sprites do look familiar :P I hope you looked at my reply to your post on page 5.

The updates are certainly awesome, but I think having a Magma Defeated Themefor Magma Members would be better.

Correct. But the weird thing is that the first dog you find is the last one you can catch and the last one you find is the first one you can catch. :P
