Tyrogue doesn't have hitmon in its name, and neither does Eevee (which is basically a romanized version of its original name). Their names are fine. Jackie Chan and Bruce Lee are NOT Japanese ninja, Typhlozion, they're Chinese martial artists.
Ninetails? There's no Pokemon named Ninetails. I do recall a Ninetales though.
The Pokemon names I despise the most are Persian and Krabby. Persian is the worst because it looks nothing like the flat-faced house cats besides, duh, being a cat. It is closer to a puma if anything. Atleast name the poor thing Pur(r)sian so it has a pun to its name. I have grown to accept Blaziken, but I used to absolutely hate it.
I think the worst english Pokemon names are ones that mess up the Japanese ones. Kyogre, Ho-oh, Suicune, Makuhita and Hariyama. Ones like Flygon and Crobat I can unstand because, like Eevee, it's just a romanized version, but why change the spelling of the Japanese names (Houo, Suikun), take out a few letters (Hariteyama line) or totally mess it up (Kaiorga)?!
