6th Gen Bird is the word

Those birds are everywhere, not appearing only at Gen V. I'd say we catch, stir-fry, serve on a silver platter, and then send them to Game Freak with a message attached saying "We have so many of these birds that we're making food out of them".

And that basically explains my current feelings about the legendary bird trio.

It... I don't know. I don't think anything of it, I suppose. Kalos was filled with first generation references but they didn't make me ecstatic. That said, they are about the only legendaries I like to actually use, and which aren't banned by the game for use in Battle Tower-type places due to their relatively meagre BST of 580, so I traded my Zapdos for a friend's Moltres and used it for a bit. It has a poor nature and wasn't really any more impressive an attacker than my Froslass, funnily enough.

I loved the way they were included this time around depending on the starter (ArticUNO if you picked the first one, ZapDOS if you picked the second and so on). I was planning on picking Froakie anyways but when I discovered I was getting Moltres if I did... I was SO happy cause not only is it my favourite Legendary bird but my favourite Legendary overall :) For me personally anytime the Legendary birds make an appearance is welcome by me, and it kinda made sense to me what with all the Kanto links in these games anyways (such as picking the Kanto starters) :)
