    When I was reading a pok?mon guide book on pok?mon (keep in mind, it was made before G/S/C) It said that Growlithe had the bite attack! Was bite a normal attack or something before the metal generation came out?
     
    Yes, Bite was in R/B/Y as a normal attack and was made into a dark attack in G/S/C. It was exactly the same in R/B/Y as in G/S/C and beyond except for its type.
     
    yes bite used to be normal in r/b/y now its been dark since g/s/c! yay biting "if I catch your butt Im gunna bite it!"
