Alright well, some new images of TCG starter sets were released (go to pokebeach, since they won't show up) And basically I think having sepearate gender starters is a cool idea, this thread is also to discuss and speculate the Black and White TCG set. (what types of cards, moves, etc).

I really doubt that the gender different products will carry over outside of Japan. Most likely the cards in these starter decks will either be made into Trainer Kits, or will be incorporated into our B/W sets. (the most likely option)

I'm also going to guess that the first set or two will focus only on B/W Pokemon, since the games themselves are supposedly going to only contain new Pokemon for the first part of the game.

As for changes to the cards themselves, a new look to the cards is almost guaranteed. As for mechanics, I'm actually hoping they don't have 'special' Pokemon like lv. X's or Legends. Since it looks like they're trying to start fresh with the games, that's the best way the TCG can follow suit.

We need some Gender-specific trainers. Like PokeBlower can only damage male Pokemon. Then it'll be pro like Naruto Harem decks ^.^

me too, I hate the overpowered pokemon, I was excited when DP's first said had mostly holos, but was later polluted by Lv. x
