5th Gen Black city/White Forest??

i really like the look of the black city, so i may go with that one

I think GameFreak just stepped up their game and made this generation a whole lot more than what people originally anticipated it to be. I didn't realize the image on the lower left hand side was the same city, but differently designed until it was pointed out *slow*. Still, it seems every step we take to learning more about these games it seems the plot becomes more of a natural vs. industrial plotline over ying vs. yang. Yet, there seems to be some influence of both.

The only thought that really ran through my head was if these games take place at the same time. I know it's a silly thought because they're the same games just made differently, but still how does one city look different at the same time? o_O Doesn't make sense, but then again this is Pokémon. I'm curious to see where in the timeline this takes place. Just saying.

Still, if this is GameFreak and Nintendo's way to make fans buy both versions, then I'd say it's working. I'll be glad to play the same game on two different versions and look forward to seeing something different from its counterpart.

I just want the game with the Green blob (still haven't learned its name yet) to be my main one. :3 I love that Pokémon.

So far we know that there is an area that appears only in Pokemon Black and an area that only appears in Pokemon White. Black City and White Forest.

Apparently Rankurusu (Blob) and Gochiruzeru (Goth) are both Psychic types and Version Exclusives. We don't know which version they are exclusive to but we know the patch of grass they are located in. This patch appears to be in a city of some sort, or at least next to a road of some kind.

Gochiruzeru is in black city in pokemon black version

Rankurusu is in white forest in pokemon white version

im completely confused on whether to get black or white! theyre are so many reasons i want both! exlcusive pokemon, exclusive areas, different looking cities and the two awesome legendaries im not able to decide which i want

Grr, I want the city too and Rashiram too but I just settled for White since it has the cool legend and forest plus I was going to get that one originally :P

its so confusing i feel like they should have a mix and match bit where you choose what city/legend/exclusive pokemon you get. that would make choosing easier :P

Well you could always pre order one and then get the other in your language ;)

haha if i do get both they will be in english i dont know a word of japanese and i dont intend to learn it!! learning french and irish is enough for me at the mo :P

I hope this isn't that "BIG DIFFERENCE" between the versions that I saw mentioned in one of the Pokemon articles... Though it's a new differentiating factor between the versions, though, so I'm all for it as a welcome change. :) Provided that the third version includes both locations and all 3 mascot legendaries to compensate for the long wait time... :D
