?I didn?t do nothing!? She yelled directly into the face of the older girl, who stood millimetres taller than her, her face was contorted in anger.

?Then why exactly is my dorm door sprayed with red paint and YOU just HAPPEN to be here?? The older asked, arms crossed stubbornly across her chest, her face showing a clam, yet dangerous look.

Rachel shrugged, taking a swift look at the door, in which ?Pig Sty? was displayed with red spray paint. Her thin lips arched into a smirk and she backed away slightly from the older ?Maybe the maids got tired with cleaning up all the **** that they found in your room.

And that was the finger that pulled the trigger. The older girl snarled viciously as Rachel disappeared around the corner, cackling madly. She gave chase down the dorm hallway but Rachel being so much faster than the heavier built girl arrived at her room in a split second and quickly slammed the door shut in the elders face.

There was the sound of slamming against the oak door, mingled with the sound of hysterical laughter, as Katie Edwards slammed her fists angrily on the outside of the door, and Rachel landed on her bed, burrowing her head into her pillows to stifle her laughter.

?Ill get you Thomas, you just wait!? was the girls last reply as she stomped away.

Rachel turned onto her back and laughed up at the ceiling, it was just too much fun being her sometimes. She sighed in content and placed her hands behind her head, before rolling her shoulders and falling into a peaceful rest upon the single bed.

?Another great year?

"Empty..", either I was the first one here or i'll be alone again this year. As I unpacked my stuff, organizing it almost compusavely, I coudln't help but hope that i might have a roomate.

For hte past several years I stayed antisocial, barely even making eye contact with the other students. But now i wanted to change all that, i wanted friends.

Standing, i glanced down at my neatly folded clothes and belongings, then made my way back out into the halls. The hall was empty so i didn't bother hiding it, wiht a wince a chain slowly crept out from my sleeve. It clanged and slithered its way around the door nob, sliding it shut.

"Maybe someone will be here when i get back...hopefully"...

Making his way into the empty music hall, Raen turned his green-gold gaze toward the high, curved ceiling. If nothing else, this place is still familiar . . . Glancing about and seeing no other students, Raen quietly seated himself on the edge of the stage, removed his flute from his belt, and raised the instrument to his lips.

After a slight breath, the musician gently exhaled, breathing life into the silver flute. A gentle, steady melody flowed from the instrument--a simple tune, one that was soft and sweet. Echoing about the large room, the song seemed to overlap itself, allowing the notes to mingle and complement one another while permitting the melody's simplicity to be retained.

Closing his eyes, Raen submerged himself into the music--directing his focus and energy into the instrument. Light, yet confident, the student's fingers seemed to dance across the flute's surface as they skillfully molded and formed the song. His expression quiet and peaceful, Raen felt his mind drifting from the surrounding world . . .

"ok.... I'm done with my stuff... maybe it's time to wander around the halls" I said as I put down a backpack of mine on the floor next to the closet. I walked out my dorm and closed the door. I looked around and started to walk. I put my hands in the pockets of my long coat as I turned around a corner. I was starting to get bored until I saw two girls walking beside each other. "good morning" I said as I walked beside them, still walking the other way.

As I continued walking, I thought maybe it's time to meet people.... have friends...... those girls! as I turned around a corner. I stopped and peeked aroudn the corner, just to see the hall empty. I sighed as I continued wandering around. But then I saw a boy closeing his dorm's door with a chain. I smiled and ran until I was next to him. "Hey... um..." I expressed as I decided to be honest, "I'm kinda new here, so I possibly don't know anyone, so I was wondering if we could be friends?". Oh I was so childish... oh well, being childish was one of my moods. I met other people before I went to this school, but everyone thought that I was doomed with all my sudden mood changes... I thought that as I became silent next to the boy.

I froze, hte chain vanished bag into my shirt. "....hi", why whould this kid so desperately ask such a thing. Perhaps he is the same as me, just wants some friends.

"My name is Cryhst", i studdered nervously. "You can call me Chris if you'd like", the kid seemed around my age and had a cazy hair dou. I held out my hand and stepped foward...

Another sigh escaped Dylan's lips as he wandered through the desolate hallway. There were more students, he could hear them. Most were probably checking out their new dorms, though. Oh, wait. If he remembered correctly, there was this girl who practically lived in this school. His older brothers, all six of them, told him about her. They said that they were always playing pranks on her whenever she was asleep, and they always gave her an occasional peek when she was changing, which made Dylan beat the living heck out of them.

He could've gone to the school with them, but they had this 'thing' with almost all the female students. Ugh. "Anyways," Rolling his eyes at the thought of his brothers being all?yucky-like, he searched the hallways carefully. Any sign of life would be great.

Aha! He grinned brightly as he dashed towards the girl, Luna, was it? He managed to overlook the girl walking beside her and accidentally bumped into the other girl, falling on the ground with a light thud.

"Aah, sorry!" He cried, flailing his arms. "I didn't see you 'cause I was looking for her and I was happy that I found her so I?" He halted himself, tugging both sides of his cheeks. Quit it! Quit it, quit it! Try and act more, eh, manly.

I smiles and shook hands with Chris. "name is Max... so... have you been here before?" I said to Chris. Even I was new to that school, it looked familiar to me... nah... I'm used to weird schools... that's all... I thought as I came back to reality. And then I finally realized I met my first friend in that place... I still had to meet many persons... I liked to meet everyone... I was such a weirdo.

Although he seems wierd, he'll have to due for now as my friend. "Well Max, this is my second year here". I looked down at my feet for a second, I never knew how nervous I was.

"Whant me to show you around?" I barely know how to navigate this school let alone show it to someone else...

Mist walked down the halls, staring at her feet. She couldn't help thinking it would be another bad year. She sighed. Another year of teasing, and classes. She'd never really been teased. A few people had made comments about her hair, or shoes, but that was it.

"I wonder whe---Ow!" She began to say, but tripped over someones foot. "Sorry!!"

"Watch where you're going." He said and walked off. Mist sat on the floor, hoping this wasn't a preview of what was to come in the year.

Hearing a noise outside the music hall, Raen opened his eyes and lowered the flute. Slowly allowing himself to return to reality amidst the last echoes of his song, the student dropped down from his perch on the stage. Then, replacing his flute in his belt, he made his way to the door of the large room.

Pushing open the room's heavy door, Raen's gaze shifted as he searched for the source of the sound.

Taiki was balancing on top of a large red ball juggling some knives "hah ha ha, knives" she said to herself in a bemused way. She was smirking behind her mask another year at school another year of chaos, the knives suddenly were engulfed in flames. She stared at the fire for a moment and watched as she made the knives spin around her. She started to bounce down the hall clearly oblivious to everything else, even the knives that had lost the flames but kept trying to slice her up.

Sinos stopped dead in her tracks when Dylan ran into her. When he apologized, she simply shrugged and smiled. "No biggie, don't worry about it" She said with a smile that was a little too wide, one that showed she was trying not to laugh. As she often did, she collected rogue thoughts and Dylan's just jappened to cross her, she had to resist bursting out in laughter.

Sinos folded her hands behind her back and corrected her smile, then looked right at Dylan, staring straight into his eyes. If it hadn't been noticed before, Dylan couldn't miss it now... she had no pupils ot her eyes, they were a solid violet iris. Her reason for staring him in the eyes was to give his mind a minor probing just to find out a little more about him and given his current state, he might be more easily probed.

"second year, eh? cool" I replied to him when he answered my question. When he asked me if he showed me around, and after some seconds of being silent I denied, "umm... no thanks, I think I will do this by myself... I possibly learn more... an habit of mine... well... um... nice to meet you and... see ya later!". With a smile on my face I waved my hand as I slowly started to walk away from Chris. After waving my hand, I put both of them in the pockets of my long coat and continued to wander around.

Dylan blinked as he stared at the girl's eyes. He had this weird feeling that he couldn't shake off, but...meh, probably nothing. Ridding of his thoughts, he tilted his head on one side and grinned brightly. "You have pretty eyes." He said, chuckling lightheartedly. "But it sorta looks different from all the others. That's why it's pretty, though!"

Okay, so he wasn't the brightest.

//ooc: Sowwie if it ish short~ish. X3; I'm tired and lazy so I can't think right.

After Rachel was sure that Katie had left, she opened the door slowly, peeking around the corner first to make sure the cost was clear, before she exited her dorm and locked it with her key. She pocketed the bronze key and gave a wide yawn, this had certainly been a great start to the New Year and she was surprisingly worn out.

?Hmm?perhaps the gym is free?I feel like doing some training? she muttered happily to herself, beginning her walk down the dorm corridor towards the main building. It was only on rare occasions where Rachel got to practice her skills, because most of the year she was to busy to really have any spare time to herself?and she was not willing to give up her precious dinner times.

Upon entering the main building, she heard multiple noises, varying from music, to laughter?it seemed she was not the only to have decided to leave her dorms and go explore the all to familiar surroundings of the school?the start of the year was always the most enjoyable, as the students all had free time on the first day to do whatever they pleased.

Taking a right, she came face to face with the massive gym doors. She sighed in content and pushed the heavy doors open. The gym was deserted, just how she liked it, now there would be no interruptions unless someone decided that a good work out was the best way to start a school year.

She walked to the centre of the huge hall and took up an attack position, gathering the dark powers within her body; her right fist became engulfed in fire, the orange-yellow flame casting a sunset effect across the gym. She grinned at this and then turned her attention to her left hand, where as opposite to her right, the hand came alive with a dark flame.

The hall was now coated in a purple blaze and Rachel grinned wickedly, she then began her training.

"What are you people doing?" I muttered rudely as I noticed the commotion behind me between the boy, and the girl. The girl seemed somewhat familiar to me, but I couldn't recall her name. The boy, however, I had never seen before. I didn't wait for a reply, and began to walk away. Being alone your whole life tended to corrupt your social skills, if you get what I'm saying.

Mist sighed, and stood up. "I should wtch where I'm going." She mumbled. This year is going to be verrrry long... She picked up the books she was carrying, and walked down the hall. "This place is always the same..." She hung her head as she walked, but paid more attention than last time.

"No, um, please wait!" Dylan called after the girl. He really did wanted to speak to her, more or less to ask forgiveness for his brothers' actions. Sure, she acted a little rude, but perhaps it was only because of all the pranks the students played on her. Maybe, if someone became her friend, she would see that not everyone was as annoyingly 'ugh-y', for a lack of better word, as his brothers. I bet she'd be happier, too!

"I was looking for you 'cause I wanted to talk to you...if that's alright." Well, it was worth a shot.

Sinos smiled and decided it best to stay back and let the two of them talk. She, however, felt like practicing a little soccer, so down to the gym she headed to fetch a ball, but before that she stopped at her room to drop her hoodie off. It might seem odd to others, but yes, she did play in jeans, she was so used to them that they didn't hamper her movement and the extra weight was nothing to her.

After that was all said and done, she locked her door and headed toward the gym, dodging people in the halls as usual.. It always seemed to her that everyone was out to run into her as she had to bend around at least seven people daily. Soon, she had arrived at the gym and was abot to head in when she noted someone was inside... she didn't know who nor could she see, but she could feel it. Something was amiss about this person, something that set her apart form others, but Sinos didn't know what. Standing at the door, she closed her eyes and tried to get a good image of who it was and why it felt so strange by gathering the person's mental signals.

In her mind, Sinos was able to see the world from Rachel's point of view for a brief time and she smiled a little. Another abnormality like herself... Sinos merely shrugged and opened the door, casually strolling to the room where the balls should be kept without so much as glancing at Rachel on her way by. Wether she stopped at the sound of the door opening or continued with her excercise Sinos didn't notice, her focus wa son getting her soccer balland getting out.

As I continued wandering around... and possibly trying to remember where was everything... I decided to go back to my dorm. wait... where's my dorm?... it was that way... no... THAT way... oh c'mon... I'm lost... I thought as I looked around. Everyone looked like if they knew everything... I sighed and tried to find someone that knew where the boys' dorms were.

In my frustration I looked at the floor still walking. "I wonder why I always forget everything... I'm such a moron..." I expressed as I suddenly felt like I hit something with my head. I rubbed my head as I rose it to see what I hit. I just saw a girl with purple clothes... and a purple hat with cat-like ears.... I thought I hit her in the head... "so sorry!! I'm such a moron! it's just that I'm kinda lost and I'm getting a bit frustrated... you ok?" I said to the girl... who looked some years younger than me.

As I waited for an answer, I decided to ask her where could I find my dorm. "um... hey... I was wondering... if you knew where are the boys' dorms... as I said, kinda lost and I'm new here" I added. Suddenly, I felt kinda like talking more... possibly I just switched moods... "and if you ever want to have revenge, and you don't find me, my name is Max". I wonder... if music was one of the stuff that cause the mood changes... was there even music there?.
