BlastCatty... Revisted?

So I went to a league this past Wednesday for the first time ever, and I ended up reconstructing the BlastCatty deck I had last spring. Since the host store didn't have enough packs to run an actual league night, the planners opted instead to just run a tourney since they had 7 people. I got lucky the first round and had a bye. The second round, however, I got Vapor-donked, and in round three, I was overran by a Tyranitar deck because of, among other things, a poor starting hand.

tl;dr: Basically, I went to league and got wiped the floor with. And I'm posting my deck for suggestions on what I should do with it.

Pokemon (23):
3 Palkia G (Platinum)
1 Palkia G Lv.X (Platinum)
2 Floatzel GL (Rising Rivals)
2 Gyarados G (Platinum)
4 Skitty (Platinum)
3 Delcatty (Platinum)
4 Squirtle (Platinum)
3 Wartortle (Platinum)
1 Blastoise (Platinum)

Trainers and Supporters (20):
1 Broken Time-Space
2 Copycat
2 Energy Search
1 Felicity's Drawing
1 Marley's Request
2 Moo-Moo Milk
2 Pokemon Rescue
1 Premier Ball
3 Roseanne's Research
2 Switch
1 Underground Expedition
2 Warp Point

Energy (17):
3 Double Colorless Energy
14 Water Energy

I'm painfully aware that I probably need more of the Blastoise, so I compensated by putting all my Pokemon Rescue cards in there, and the Palkia G Lv. X is more of a plaything to experiment with or power-up than anything. I also should probably acquire some GE Claydol. Anything else you got for suggestions?

I personally have never played this type of deck, so what I'm suggesting here is based on the basic combo between Delcatty and Blastoise that I have heard about.

Pokemon (23):
3 Palkia G (Platinum)
1 Palkia G Lv.X (Platinum)
2 Floatzel GL (Rising Rivals)
2 Gyarados G (Platinum)
4 Skitty (Platinum)
3 Delcatty (Platinum)
4 Squirtle (Platinum)
3 Wartortle (Platinum)
1 Blastoise (Platinum)

For starters I would take out the SP Pokemon, since they don't really go well with your strategy, and of course, add two more Blastoise. I would then add in a 2-2 line Claydol (GE), and a Nidoqueen (RR) line. Why Nidoqueen? Nidoqueen's Poke-Body lets you remove a damage counter from each of your Pokemon between turns, and is the most consistent healing card in the game. Basically, if you have Delcatty use it's Poke-Power to place 2 damage counters on it, when it comes back to your turn, both damage counters will be gone. Also throw in a Uxie (LA), just in case you need to draw extra cards in a pinch. Lastly, add a Chatot (MD). Chatot has a free attack that functions exactly like Copycat, and since you run DCE, you can keep an opponent's Spritomb (AR) from retreating for one Energy card with its Chatter attack. Anyway, my Pokemon line would look like this:

3 Squirtle (Platinum)
2 Wartortle (Platinum)
3 Blastoise (Platinum)
3 Skitty (Platinum)
3 Delcatty (Platinum)
2 Baltoy (GE or SV, your choice)
2 Claydol (GE)
2 Nidoran F (RR)
1 Nidorina (MT or RR, your choice)
2 Nidoqueen (RR)
1 Uxie (LA)
1 Chatot (MD)

Total: 25

Why 3-2-3 for Blastoise, and 2-1-2 for Nidoqueen? Read on.

Trainers and Supporters (20):
1 Broken Time-Space
2 Copycat
2 Energy Search
1 Felicity's Drawing
1 Marley's Request
2 Moo-Moo Milk
2 Pokemon Rescue
1 Premier Ball
3 Roseanne's Research
2 Switch
1 Underground Expedition
2 Warp Point

Take out Copycat, Energy Search, Marley, Moo-Moo Milk, Pokemon Rescue, Premier Ball, and Underground Expedition. Add in 4 Bebe's Search and 1 Luxury Ball for Pokemon searching. Also max out Felicity's Drawing, since you can discard Water Energies and have Delcatty put them back on top of your deck. Add in 2 Night Maintenance so you have another way to return Water Energy to your deck. Finally, add in 3 Rare Candy. This is why I suggested the lines that I did. It basically lets you evolve a Basic straight into a Stage 2 without the need for a Stage 1, and you can use it even on the turn you put the Basic down! Anyway, my Trainer line would look like this:

1 Broken Time-Space
4 Felicity's Drawing
3 Roseanne's Research
2 Switch
2 Warp Point
4 Bebe's Search
1 Luxury Ball
2 Night Naintenance
3 Rare Candy

Total: 22

Energy (17):
3 Double Colorless Energy
14 Water Energy

For Energy, reduce the number of Waters down to 9, and add a Psychic, just in case Nidoqueen needs to attack. Nidoqueen does have good attacks, so don't be afraid to use it if you have to.

3 DCE
9 Water
1 Psychic

Total: 13

Hopefully this helped you out, even if it was just a little bit. If you need more Energy in your deck for some reason, a 1-1 Delcatty would be good to take out. Also, if you can't get a hold of Rare Candy, adding in more Broken Time-Space and one more of the Stage 1's should work as well.
