    what do you think about this show? i think it is really good and funny! what is your opinon on this show?
     
    I personally hate it...my absolute least favorite anime. Sorry, but I don't feel like sugarcoating it, I just can't stand it that much. Whenever I see it, or even hear about it, I get a twisting, ill feeling that somehow makes me feel like I'm suffocating, just from the sheer memory of the (bad kind of) insanity and lack of plot in the first episode. I'll give it that it *tries* to be funny, at least attempts to be campy, but there's just something about how many non sequitirs there are and how bad the un-funny parts of the dialogue are that completely ruins it. I also didn't like the animation...of course, story should be what matters, but when some things are just so butt-ugly that I can't get past it there's a problem (ie one of the reasons I can't watch One Piece and a few other animes) The concept could have been hilarious, but they made it incredibly childish from Bobobo only having power over his nose and armpit hairs, two "tee-hee" parts of the human anatomy, instead of giving him a broader range of powers and abilities. I also hate the anthros in it. There are good anthros and bad anthros, but when I see all the creepy things like Pickes and Don Patch (not to mention the disgusting bomb woman in the credits), who have very little thought put into them and serve only a basic comic purpose, they make the show worse instead of enhancing it. I can definitely see vision in it, but the execution completely ruins what little hope there was for the show to begin with. During the first five or so minutes, I felt like it could have a comedic Ultimate Muscle-ish vibe to it, but they weren't able to control themselves and went into a spiral of utter randomness from which there is no escape.
     
    I love it!
    But stupid and funny is the point of it.
    And there is a plot.. If you were paying attention , there is a plot. They even say it in the beginning of each episode
     
    Actually this show is pretty funny...to a Japanese person. This is one of those things that should never air outside off of Japanese TV. Too many of the jokes are made that you'd only get if you really knew a lot of Japanese pop culture.
     
    Obviously one who does not enjoy Bobobo does not enjoy other random Japanese strangeness, such as FLCL, Katamari Damashii, or Excel Saga. Bobobo-Bo Bo-Bobo is Japanese weirdness (Nihongohen) at its finest.
     
    I haven't seen it, I've just heard it mentioned as "that anime with a ridiculous name". XD
