Halloween may have passed, but the fun did quite last for awhile.

Halloween is probably one of my most favorite holidays. Sure there's the joy that encompasses Christmas and all those delicious goodies you consume on Thanksgiving, but in my opinion none of that matches up with the fun that encomasses Halloween. For many, this is a period of time where they may revert back to their inner child by dressing up as their favorite character from a show, a fad that may have occurred that year, or something completely wacky and out there that make others question what the heck you actually are.

    Spoiler:
For myself, I've always loved dressing up for Halloween. Back in the days of high school, my friends would go out partying/drinking while I went out trick or' treating. Some people may argue that you're too old to do that as a senior, but I beg to differ. As long as you aren't intruding on the fun of little kids, then I see nothing wrong with getting some free candy. I remember that year how I had dressed up as a giant gingerbread man (the one from Shrek to be more specific) and I had my friend dress up as a baker, which then resulted in him chasing me down the street with my yelling "you can't catch me, I'm the gingerbread man!" It brought a delight to the little kids trick or' treating, and it most definitely brought a delight to myself as well.

    Spoiler:
Anyways, this year I ended up going to Providence with my girlfriend to celebrate Halloween. A bunch of her friends were having a few shindigs which prompted us to celebrate the holiday in Providence instead of Boston. Her friends were planning on going to a few parties happening around campus, but as her and I are sort of above the whole party scene we decided to just go over to her friend's place to just pregame. We planned to dress up as Sen and Haku from Spirited Away, and the costumes were pretty dope if I do say so myself. We found this really awesome website that created custom cosplay costumes that looked identical to the clothes that the characters garbed in the show. Plus, the clothes were extremely comfortable, which guiltily enough I still wear as pajamas.

    Spoiler:
However, on the day of - as apparent by the picture above - we decided to go down a different route in terms of dressing up. Over the past year, her and I have absolutely adored the show Bob's Burgers. We've binge watched the show probably...at least three times through each of the available seasons of the show on Netflix, and thus it came almost as an epiphany the day of as to what we should really be dressing up as. Thankfully, the rapid change in costumes didn't cost us a single penny. With some knick knacks lying around the house, we were able to swiftly create some makeshift costumes from the show. As a result, Bob Belcher and Linda Belcher came to fruition.

Halloween is such a fun time to just geek out. I hope that in the years to come that I continue to dress up in fun and wacky ways. I honestly can't wait when I reach a point in my life when kids will trick or' treat at my house and I get to dress up for them. I think that's one of the most exciting things about Halloween in my opinion. Anyways, what about you guys? Did you do anything for Halloween? If so, did you dress up? What was it? What is your favorite candy treat? Comment below as I'd love to hear and discuss with you what you have to say about this topic!
