New to the forums and ready to take it all in! I'd like to say I'm a grizzled Pokemon veteran but sadly, Ive only started playing since Emerald, but boy did I play the hell out of it. And the battery still works! But yeah, I have taken breaks from Pokemon through my life, but have just recently gotten back into things with White one and two. And "patiently" waiting to get my hands on a copy of Pokemon X and my magical deer :~:

Feel free to ask any questions, trying to filter all the ramble and just jump right into the fray here at PC. Also, call me Noah.

P.S. One day, Ill know all there is about Pokemon, and become my own expert on the very thing!
P.S.S. I'm not on google chrome so I aplogize for any horrid spelling or gammar, I do get lazy at times.

Heck yeahhh, Emerald! Loved that game. <3; Cool one to start with for sure. What did you think of the awesome thunderstorm scene towards the end of the story?

I'm just as excited for X & Y as you are. We still have a while to go, but at least discussing the news as it's released is a fun way to just keep anticipating it. I'm still super excited to see the starters... gonna go for X too, that magical deer is just awesome. Probably one of the coolest legendary designs we have to date. ^^ Make sure to drop by the X & Y board on PokeCommunity and discuss the games, if you're interested! That section is quite lively and will be for a while.

I'll ask some questions though! Do you watch the anime? Do you play spinoffs (like Ranger or Mystery Dungeon) or only the main games? Have a favorite type or Pokemon? There's a bunch of different fans so it's always fun to see what parts of Pokemon they all enjoy~

Welcome to the forums! I've played pokemon since the beginning, but I've taken some serious breaks from it as well... I played all the games but I didn't get crazy into it again until Diamond and Pearl. (By crazy about it I mean play for whole days, spend hours breeding, do all the extra stuff, etc.) The only reason I took a break after Pearl is because of a crazy mishap that made me lose all my work in the game... :( I'll save you that story for now, though!

I think Emerald (or Fire Red?) was my first game as well, but I didn't play the hell out of it like you did. I was a noob back then so I had absolutely no idea what I was doing. Anyways, since you're obviously excited for X & Y, I guess I'll see you around the Pokémon X & Pokémon Y section, huh?

Oh, and don't worry. I'm pretty positive that you'll become a Pokémon master one day. We're all here to support you and cheer you on. ;)
