Yep,I finished the first chapter to my fanfic about Ash and I am waiting till pikastar gets on so she can help me since I am new at writing stories.XD^^

Okay! Yes you did it right. Fanfiction.net can take .html as a file. Did you save it on your hard drive? If you did you can go the next step. So here it is...

1. Go to Document Manager(You need to make a label(name the story anything like"first story or something)), second select format(pick--story format), then select file on computer, upload document(the html file with the label you named)

2. Create Story(Pick a caterogy): Which this case you need to put it in Games---->Pokemon

3. Then go to Chapter Manager(This is when you can upload your chapters. Just follow the instructions. You will take your file and place it in a chapter.

Okay this is a little confusing if this is your first time. So I suggest read "Read Me First" before going through these steps. It will explain everything.

If you still don't get it. I be right here. ^^ Give it a try. If you have any problems, come ask me. You will get your chapter in the net!! Don't worry. You are in good hands. ^^

Okay I was making sure if it was right with the html thingy,but I am confused about the chapter thingy.
Do I have to open a new document for each chapter or do I right it all in one file and then seperate them into chapters?

Er,I guess something is happening.x_x; Um...can you upload more than just one document at the same time?
I wanted to upload my author notes as the first chapter,but it said I had to upload another document to make the story the second chapter but it will only upload one document at a time.
I dunno if I am doing something wrong of something.;-;
Edit:Nevermind,I figured it out.XD

Um..no. It is your author notes a short paragraph? If it is you had to edit your first chapter to put them in there, or include them in your other chapters. Do you have a Disclamer? Make sure to put that in every chapter you upload. Don't worry I will get you in working shape. ^^
