6th Gen breeding and hidden ability

I couldnt find a thread on it. But im breeding for shiny eevees I have 2 different region eevee with the female having the hidden ability and destiny not. Should the ability be passed to all of them or only a chance?

Hidden abilities are not guaranteed to pass down. Destiny Knot only works to pass down IVs.

I think I read that the hidden ability has a 60% chance to pass down from female? not completely sure, I can't seem to find it now

Female has a 60% chance of passing on its hidden ability if that is its ability. Males can pass on its hidden ability if, and only if, it is mating with a ditto.
when breeding for shinies, the quickest way is to have one from your region and one from a different region.
Destiny Knot passes on IVs, Macho Brace and other ev boosting items pass on EVs, and the Everstone passes on the nature. the chances of getting a shiny from breeding is still about 1/1360, give or take. so good luck and godspeed

I've yet to get one so far, though I've only made 10 eggs so far with it. I was rebreeding mine with Ditto to get a better nature than the one I got but so far none of the babies had their hidden ability so the male's chances are definately lower.
