[Sword & Shield] Breeding Hidden Ability

Hi guys,

Today I got lucky and finally found a Cursola with the hidden ability. I've been trying to breed it with my Ditto and so far I've bred 3 boxes full and not a single one has been given the hidden ability. I also tried breeding the Cursola with a male one, and none of their eggs got the ability either. Am I doing something wrong? From 3 boxes worth of eggs I would've expected at least one to have the ability, lol.

I've never really bothered with breeding in the past games, so I'm kinda new to all of it. I read on a few places how to pass down the ability and none of it seems to be working for me.

Are any of the Galarian Corsolas that you've bred ones with Cursed Body for an ability? If so, those are ones with the Hidden Ability, it just doesn't become Perish Body until it evolves in Cursola.

If not, it's either that you've just been unlucky, or they've changed something about how abilities get passed down in SwSh.

Oh wow, I did not know that! Thank you so much. I just evolved one of the Corsola and the ability changed into perish body.
