4th Gen Breeding question.

    Okay, I have a question about breeding... I read something on Bulbapedia about if you give a Pokemon a certain father, it could learn certain moves, now how do I get my Female piplup to breed with say, my male Shinx?
     
    They have to be in the same egg group, look up on Bulbapedia "Egg Groups" and you'll see what can breed with what.
     
    Often you can tell on appearance. I.e. Gyarados won't breed with Weavile :P

    Oh, and Ditto will breed with everything that isn't:

    - Legendary (Excluding Manaphy and Phione).
    - Nidorina/Nidoqueen (don't know this one).
    - Ditto (You can't get a Ditto egg).
