Bringing Back Old PC Memories

Heh, I remember the fall of a PC generation! When PE2K was joined with this board, and they left. It was h3ll! But thats when all the "new" people dominated (ie, ME) and cool stuff happened from then on.

I think I'm the 6th oldest PC member. That is if I forgot someone (maybe 20 people -_-')

I forgot about PE2K's massive leaving. That probably also had an adverse effect on me becoming as popular as I became. XD

I also remember that whenever it was a current member of PCs birthday, a thread would be made to celebrate... why isn't that done anymore?

It is done. I'v seen may of those threads. No one ever made one for me though :(

On the old PC, there weren't nearly as many members. Therefore, whenever someone had a birthday, they were probably an active member, thus knowing everyone else on PC. So threads could easily be made and everyone could contribute to them.

Now, half the people with birthdays don't even post. The one's that do normally get a thread. =\ It's better than earlier in the year when there was just one thread for all birthdays. I had that removed before mine, though. XD

i remeber when i first joined I was so scared, and no one would ever post in my threads.

And I only posted in Webmaster Discussion for my first like 100 posts LOL

and i remeber KyleTech and him always getting yelled at and bashed, and all his threads being locked.

And i remeber Simone.... man do i miss her, I still remeber when she let me be a affy (my first one) and she gave me a job at her site and asked to watch over it while she took a breather

Simone is good. I intially thought she wasn't, but things changed.
The first time I visited the Webmasters section frequently was when she was a moderator at PC.
I remember KyleTech and Lightning's debate about a Pichu website. I wonder how's the website coming along? Lightning, I sent you a scan of something by PM ages ago, did you receive it?

Theres so much of PC history to write down. Theres a similar thread to this every few months. Meh

I remember when I didn't have a .2 at the end of my name. Also those 2 Get-Togethers. That was a dumb excuse to try to be better than PE2K if you ask me. It went of really, really bad at the start. Everyone was like "What exactly do we do? What do we talk about"... and they ended up as 70 pages of food fights. -_-' How shameful. I threatened to leave if they didn't stop with the food.

Hmmmm...what do I remember...
I first joined PC under the username Cloudskipper, before the database got deleted, and posted my art in the art forum (I think the first pics I put up were ones of Kingdra and Ho-Oh). I had a lot of fun posting there (I remember a lot of the members people have mentioned). I've been here a lot longer than people think! ^_^

When the database crashed, I didn't join again until about a month afterwards, and then I decided to give myself a fresh start under the username I have today. :)

Well i have been under many diff names realy. Most people know me for StarLightUmbreon. Though i had two other before that. So i have been around longer than most think. THough back then i was more or less in the shadows. Mostly posting in art thread and not realy getting to know people.
I can't realy remember to many memories avout back then. Just a lot of play fighting and stuff realy. Aslo there was not all this leaving stuff.... and spaming.

That's right. I remember you. You are one of those members I first met after joining PC ^^ And my favourite haunt back then was the Art section only!

XP I don't remember much of anything before we restarted, honestly. I guess the downside of being a popular board is you lose that intimacy you guys are describing. But it seems…okay with out it.
