But I have "Kill the Lights" stuck in my head; It's like a darker, sassier version of "Piece of Me". :D

Oh god yes.. everyone I know loves that song.. This song should have made the album.. too bad.

I've been a fan since Baby One More Time and I still love her and always will!

I even saw the Oops tour. She was the last concert I have been too. XD *drove out of state with sister and cousin to see her* But our seats sucked.

Just be glad that it is even available on an album in America, stupid only the British and the Japanese get to enjoy Amnesia on the actual album.

Also, if anyone hasn't listened to Trouble (the iTunes pre-order bonus track) then you really need to. It is really really good.

Edit: And I heard an awesome Christmas song by her today on the radio called My Only Wish.
 
So in reply to the actual topic and not the more recent posts ('cause I'm slow): I don't like her music so much, but she's not a horrible artist.

I definitely wouldn't say she's "the most discussed artist in this point in time", but she's definitely not far from it. Forming an opinion about her on a personal level wouldn't be right, as more than half of the rumors I've heard about her are presumably untrue. However, I must admit that it takes some guts and willpower to be able to do what she's done, and since I can only judge a person by their actions, "Bravo, Brittany Spears".

While I don't like her genre of music, I do believe she is one of, if not the best at it. Some songs are rather catchy, while others I wouldn't be caught dead listening to. As for her being the "Pop Queen", I really don't have an opinion on that right now. I don't listen to very much pop, so I couldn't compare. She is a very talented individual, though, and I think the media needs to stop focusing on all the bad and start focusing on all the good.
 
As most people know, I love Britney. She is talented, and though she has had her moments, she isn't that bad.
 
I like Britney. Shes a regular person with mistakes, she just gets publicized her for it. Now I know someone is going to say "Oh yeah, a regular person shaves their head all the time, of course". I admit, she shouldn't have done that, but that was like what? A year ago and your still complaining about it? She really improved herself this year, and shes getting, and looking healthier.

Especially her new songs now; like Circus, Mannequin and Get Back, I've been listening to them a lot.
I also like Piece of Me, Break the Ice, etc.

Get Back was one of the BEST songs on Blackout. IMO I was pissed that it was only an iTunes Deluxe track though.

Also finally someone who likes Mannequin. I can't seem to find anyone else who likes that song. It's probably my favorite right now on Circus, I've gotten over Amnesia just a bit, and have been listening to Mannequin more and more. Really good.
 
I love the song mannequin. Its different but I dont think it makes sense.

OMG. I love that song too. It is my fave from blackout.
 
I just went back and listened to Get Naked (I Got A Plan) again. Yeah that song was really good, but definitely not even in my top 5 for the album.
