    i have never had any problems with IE before either, until just recently I had to get my computer fixed...

    now I can't download anything with it...

    Therefore, I have to find another one that I like and is user-friendly.

    gotta say out of all the browsers I've used FF is the best there is, the addons and themes are all good, the security is decent enough, and the speed is the best if you know what you're doing

    Firefox. Before FF, I was an IE user for yeeeears. I didn't realize how crappy a browser IE was until someone told me about Firefox and I downloaded it. It didn't grow on me, though, until late last year. I used Opera for a long period of time because I could check my e-mail while I was browsing (lazy, I know XD;) and because some of the widgets were cute (SHUT UP MY REASONS ARE COOL D:). .___.;

    I forget why I switched over to Firefox, but I did. The closest thing I use to IE now it FireFox's IE tab, to test layouts and make sure they look fine in IE when I'm web designing.

    The one that works the best with me is MSN Explorer 9.

    It's basically like Internet Explorer, only it has a pop-up blocker that actually works and has MSN Messenger features built into it, so it works well. It's something like AOL Explorer, only it's for MSN Messenger. Which, I think that's obvious.

    Aside from that, the order I use the browsers in are:
    MSN Explorer 9
    Opera
    Firefox
    Internet Explorer 7
    Safari

    Opera, to me, is the best free downloadable one. It comes with many features in which Firefox doesn't and, for me, it's much more faster than Firefox on my computer. Sadly, some features don't really work on Opera as they do on Firefox and all the other browsers I use.

    Firefox, well, nothing needs to be said about that. Everyone else explained why they think Firefox is <the best>.

    IE7, well, nothing needs to be said about this one either.

    Safari... truly sucks on my computer. It takes decades to load pages and it's font tool is horrible. I do, however, like the ability to resize text boxes. But that's all it's really good for.

    Firefox definitely... I have always been and IE user, until we got our new computer, and my mom decided to give Firefox a try. It is definitely better: faster, easier to use, and the download manager is great!

    Firefox. Firefox. Firefox.

    I used to just have IE, which was the Windows Default. I got so tired of the "every-two-minutes" error message. My freind Case told me he had firefox. So, I downloaded it. I love it. A lot of my downloads using IE would either stall, not work, or just take 2 hours off my life expectancy. Firefox's download times are the fastest I've ever seen, (And I usually use dial-up!) I've never tried Safari. I've used Opera on the Wii, it was good, but for a computer, it didn't appeal to me. I just find Firefox better overall. (At least Firefox will tell you what's wrong, not just "(Firefox) cannot display the page.")

    I use Opera and Firefox. Would use Opera more often if it was compatible with my online classes and had a spell checker built in.

    The browser that I had use before the first utilisation of a pc are:

    Internet Explorer; Mozilla Firefox; Iceweasel; Konqueror; Epiphany; K-Meleon; Opera.

    I can't bear: Internet Explorer

    List (better=>bad)
    -Konqueror (It's khtml rending same as Safari on mac)
    -Firefox and Iceweasel (I prefer Iceweasel because the logo is free :p but it's an english browser)
    -Epiphany (I prefer Epiphany than Firefox just on gnome)
    -Opera (It's a strict browser but I use Konqueror)
    -K-Meleon (Good because it's fast and this browser use gecko same as Firefox, Iceweasel, Epiphany but it's just for windows and i'm on linux)
    -Internet Explorer (It's a very very bad browser and konqueror can be used for the files same as this browser)

    On My Mac I use Safari, On My PC I use Firefox Because the Windows version of Safari is not as polished as its Mac counterpart.

    Opera Doesn't work with my local Community College's Online classes so its out of the question.

    I've used all of them, and Firefox is the top browser by far!

    There are those certain sites that wont work on Firefox though, so I do use IE once and a while.
