My last team didn't work out so well as I planned for, losing 4 matches while winning 6 ;x
(and the 6 were mostly because my opponents were HELLLAAA easy)

Anyways, that being said, I decided to make a new team, but I realized that whenever I start off a team with a Pokemon, its usually a Pokemon I loveeee, and that never really works out well, cause you can't be cute/look awesome and have amazing stats/movepools at the same time.

So, not that you guys havent helped me enough, I'm asking one more time, set up a new team for me ? ;D A team (OUpreferably) for competitive battling . I've noticed that I've lost to many people who had faster pokemon, had better set-ups (Hypnosis+NastyPlot), more defenses, etcetc.

Also, is it possible for me to build this team around Weavile & Starmie ? Or are they not as good in competitive battling ? I looked up their stats ; Weavile has awful defense D; It would be okay if Weavile was subbed for Mamoswine too ;D

    Weavile @ Expert Belt
    Jolly Nature
    - Ice Punch
    - Pursuit
    - Brick Break
    - Night Slash
    252 in Atk / 252 in Spd / 4 in HP

    Starmie @ Leftovers
    Timid Nature
    - Recover
    - Ice Beam
    - Thunderbolt
    - Surf

    Forretress @ Shed Shell
    Impish Nature
    - Earthquake
    - Rapid Spin
    - Toxic Spikes
    - Explosion (?)

    Flygon @ Life Orb
    Naughty Nature
    - Roost
    - Earthquake
    - Dragon Claw
    - Flamethrower

The other two are Umbreon & Miltank who I've kept from my last team .

First thing, you missed EVs on all the pokemon bar Weavile.

Okay, you should probably give the descriptions of pokemon just to tell us what you want to achieve with it, how you use it etc.

Forretress wants Leftovers > Shed Shell and Possibly Spikes > Explosion.

Flamethrower on flygon? Eww. Flygon has no SpA at all, sub that straight away.

Oh and put in the descriptions for Miltank & Umbreon for people who didn't see

Weavile is overall a pretty bad Pokemon, I wouldn't use it but if you want to, thats a good standard set for it. You could do Low Kick >> Brick Break so you can OHKO Snorlax.
[PokeCommunity.com] Building A New, Competitive OU Team

    Starmie @ Leftovers
    Timid Nature
    - Recover
    - Ice Beam
    - Thunderbolt
    - Surf

    Standard.

[PokeCommunity.com] Building A New, Competitive OU Team

    Forretress @ Shed Shell
    Impish Nature
    - Payback
    - Rapid Spin
    - Toxic Spikes
    - Explosion

Looks solid. Payback >> Eq so you are able to hit spin blockers and possibly kill them.

    Flygon @ Life Orb
    Naughty Nature
    - Roost
    - Earthquake
    - Dragon Claw
    - Fire Blast

Not a big fan of LO Flygon. The nature is all wrong. It wants a +Spe nature. Hasty or Naive work. Even Jolly works since Fire Blast will still 2HKO Skarmory.

The other two are Umbreon & Miltank who I've kept from my last team .

    Comments above in bold.

Looks good. Umbreon/Miltank walling combo, however, does not. They are both weak to Fighting-type and unless these fools are carrying backpacks full of Chople Berries they wont last long. So Replace one or the other with something that can compliment the other (I would suggest Gliscor over Miltank).

    Taking out Weavile .
Also, I'm not sure about the Gliscor replacement . Gliscor is just as good as Miltank (but with Roost instead of Milk Drink), but it doesn't have Heal Bell, which saves my team alot of damage ;x Is it worth losing ? & I need Umbreon for the Taunt + Mean Look + Baton Pass to another Pokemon combo ;x

    Anyways, I did some more editing, and if I were to go with the Gliscor sub for Miltank, my team would be ;

    Starmie @ Leftovers
    Timid Nature
    172 HP / 216 Spd / 120 Sp.Atk
    - Thunderbolt
    - Recover
    - Surf
    - Ice Beam
; For dealing with sweepers like Infernape, Gyarados, & Dragon-typed sweepers .

    Forretress @ Leftovers
    Impish Nature
    252 HP / 80 Atk / 176 Def
    - Payback
    - Toxic Spikes
    - Rapid Spin
    - Earthquake (spikes .. ? still not sure)
    ; Spiker, spinner .

Gengar @ ??? (suggest an item, please?)
    Timid Nature
    4 HP / 252 Sp.Atk / 252 Spd
    - Psychic
    - Shadow Ball
    - Focus Blast
    - Substitute
; Special sweeper, Substitute is to (sorta) make up for its weak defenses.

    Toxicroak @ Expert Belt
    Adamant Nature
    4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
    - Poison Jab
    - Sucker Punch
    - Swords Dance
    - Low Kick (? should i replace this with stoneedge/earthquake ?)
    ; Physical Sweeper (;

    Umbreon @ Leftovers
    Careful Nature
    252 HP / 92 Sp.Def / 164 Spd
    - Mean Look
    - Baton Pass
    - MoonLight (I find that setting up Wish isn't worth the turns, & it proves troublesome ;x)
    - Taunt
; Special wall, it helps ALOT with the whole meanlook+batonpassing thing .

    Gliscor @ Leftovers
    Impish Nature
    252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
    - Knock Off
    - Stone Edge
    - Roost
    - U-Turn (?...)
    ; Physical Wall ;D Could Miltank re-replace it ?

    Starmie @ Leftovers
    Timid Nature
    172 HP / 216 Spd / 120 Sp.Atk
    - Thunderbolt
    - Recover
    - Surf
    - Ice Beam
; For dealing with sweepers like Infernape, Gyarados, & Dragon-typed sweepers .

    Okay I guess.

    Forretress @ Leftovers
    Impish Nature
    252 HP / 80 Atk / 176 Def
    - Payback
    - Spikes, nothing from your team really benefits from Toxic Spikes.
    - Rapid Spin
    - Earthquake (spikes .. ? still not sure)
    ; Spiker, spinner .

Looks good. I would run Max Sp.Def./Max HP so that it can survive a bit better against neutral special damage.

    Gengar @ Leftovers
    Timid Nature
    4 HP / 252 Sp.Atk / 252 Spd
    - Thunderbolt
    - Shadow Ball
    - Focus Blast
    - Substitute
; Special sweeper, Substitute is to (sorta) make up for its weak defenses.

Put Thunderbolt over Psychic, since Psychic is terrible. Thunderbolt has really good neutral coverage. Leftovers is so that you don't lose HP from a sandstorm when behind a sub.

    Toxicroak @ Expert Belt
    Adamant Nature
    4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
    - Poison Jab
    - Sucker Punch
    - Swords Dance
    - Low Kick (? should i replace this with stoneedge/earthquake ?)
    ; Physical Sweeper (;

Pretty bad in OU. Earthquake is common and lots of stuff can force it to switch out. I assume you have it with Dry Skin as the ability? I suppose it could work.

    Umbreon @ Leftovers
    Careful Nature
    252 HP / 92 Sp.Def / 164 Spd
    - Mean Look
    - Baton Pass
    - MoonLight (I find that setting up Wish isn't worth the turns, & it proves troublesome ;x)
    - Taunt
; Special wall, it helps ALOT with the whole meanlook+batonpassing thing .

Have it run Heal Bell/Wish Passing. Moonlight is bad in OU because Tyranitar is really, really common, so the Healing is diminished.

    Umbreon @ Leftovers
    252 HP/ 164 Def/ 92 SpDef
    -Wish
    -Heal Bell
    -Payback
    -Yawn/Toxic/Protect

    Gliscor @ Leftovers
    Impish Nature
252 HP / 40 Def / 216 Spe (needs enough speed to outrun Adamant Lucario)
    - Stealth Rock
    - Stone Edge/Taunt, so that walls cannot outstall you.
    - Roost
    - Earthquake
    ; Physical Wall ;D Could Miltank re-replace it ?

As far as Gliscor over Miltank, Umbreon can run Heal Bell, and having a Miltank/Umbreon walling core, as said, is bad, because they both share a common fighting weakness, meaning your walls will be eliminated with relative ease.

    Is it okay if Umbreon's moveset becomes ;

    - Heal Bell
    - Yawn
    - Mean Look
    - Baton Pass

? & yeah, Gliscor will become ; Stone Edge, Earthquake, Taunt, Roost.
Forretress ; StealthRock/Spikes, Payback, Rapid Spin, Earthquake.
& I'm considering switching Toxicroak with a Pokemon that was used by EmeraldSerenade (I hope using his strategy doesnt offend him, and I hope this isn't violating some rule cause I didn't get his permission to use it ;x) . It sounds really really stupid at first, but its pro in-game.

    Persian !
    - Water Pulse
    - Swift
    - Nasty Plot
    - Hypnosis
    * the bad part is, it all depends on the opponent . if they let you set up on them, you win.

Your team really needs Stealth Rock. I would suggest maybe dropping forry altogether. Its not doing anything really. Starmie can run Rapid Spin > T-Bolt, so forry can be replaced with another offensive mon if you would like. Gliscor can run Stealth Rock over Stone Edge.

I must ask, why are you so set on having Mean Look passing on Umbreon?

Mean Look passing can really help if its done right . The one thing I've noticed from competitive battling, is that whenever the opponent senses a threat, they tend to switch out . It's kinda annoying, so Mean Look prevents them frm doing so ;D

& alright I'll try and find a replacement for Forretress ;D
Is the Persian alright though ?
