Building a Weather Team [A Guide by Tortured_Soul]

Regice doesn't really need to be wary of Fire Types also due to being one of the best Special Walls in Anti's opinion. However, I have yet to use one myself and see if it really is one of the best Special Walls.

Was Snorlax added to one of the counters for hail teams? Most Ice Types are Special attacks, and, to the durable and realtively sturdy special Wall, RestalkSnorlax, does crap. I think that variant has more SDEF EVs invested, no? Edit: 200 SDEF needs to be wary of inferno-types, I beg to differ. :O

My opinion is not god. Also when I talk to you it's in ADV terms, in this generation it isn't as good.

Also T_S Regice takes nothing from special fire attacks. the almighty specsmence can't even 2HKO with with Flamethrower.

could I say something about Sunny-Day based teams?

*is going to say it anyway*

Sunny-Day, is a risky choice.

Let's take a SBrade (SolarBeam Roserade) for example.

While it's SolarBeam can strike instantly, it runs into the risk of being burned by say... FBnape (Flareblitz Infernape). Due to the effects of Sunnyday, Fire-types are especially powerful. If you use grass types on a SD-team, you need to be wary of anyone with fire attacks.

that's my two cents.

You haven't listed the biggest threat to Rain Dance teams, and this is Thunder Wave. Pokemon like Celebi, Blissey and Cresselia that can usually take more than 1 hit, will use this to paralyze your swift swimmer, thus rendering him useless and easily killed.

Another thing (Although i may be wrong), doesnt rain cause Solarbeam to take two turns to charge?

I still think you should change it from "Positives of [Weather]" to "Effects from [Weather]"

You can't have positives without negatives, which you have unfortunately

Hey, T_S. Do you'll make a TR guide....?

So, not just with weather and tr, there could be magnet rise teams and gravity teams that you could do.

Um I've never heard of Magnet rise teams and something tells me they're all weak to Infernape and Heracross.

you could do all kinds of teams, but that's way too tough to do and you can't really do high-quality guides for all kinds of teams. Honestly I'd like the idea of everybody pitching in different kinds of teams to add to this, only if you want to take it to that level.

Easy, if they made tr teams, why not make magnet rise teams?

Easy, if they made tr teams, why not make magnet rise teams?

Because Trick Room teams actually have some shot at working.

honestly a Magnet Rise team just seems totally pointless when you can run a team of flyers/levitators and Claydol to spin. It would juyst be robbing moveslots off of all the pokemon and then getting wiped out by Infernape.

Cause Trick Room is a move that benifits all pokes for about 5 turns. In reality, it only takes one poke to pull it off, 2 to substain it.

Magnet Rise only benifits one poke at a time, few can use it, it wears off afteryou switch so you must constanly put it back, & as Anti said, more than likely Infernape weak.

It'll make more sense to make a team of flyers or Levitators, although that is a bit foolhearty as well.

EDIT:Great minds think alike!

What? Magnet rise changes after switching? Ummm, wow. That must mean the same for gravity then.

Believe it or not, I've seen Celebi as a common Sandstorm Team member. I've used it, and I've seen others use it. It can annoy by SubSeeding, Recover the HP lost with Sub, and Heal Bell. Of course, it needs to attack, so you could fit in an attack somewhere.

BTW Sims, lol at the names in your friends list xD
