Buizel and Tails

    Has anyone ever noticed that Buizel resembles Tails from Sonic the Hedgehog? I've grown up with these games, including Mario Bros., and I see a lot of uncanny similarities between them. O.o; What do you think - have you found anything from pokémon that is similar to any other games from then and now?

    but I do see some sort of Sonic when I look at Buizel ...

    I've never played Sonic the Hedgehog, so no I didn't notice.

    As for pokemon that had similarities to other games the only one that stands out to me is how Jigglypuff looks a lot like Kirby
     
    A lot of characters look like Tails.

    It's because he's based of a kitsune.
     
    It wasn't that hard to spot since its three tails move in its battle animation making it easy to notice the similarities.
     
    There are similarities between the two, but not a massive amount.

    That said, I am a fan of both Tails and our little sea weasel, Buizel
     
    Like said, there is a shared similarity, preferably the similar tails. Also, the way they are both used as a propeller-like utility to themselves, it gives them that same characteristic (except one is used for water, while the other is used for flight). Regardless, Nintendo does have a way of having similar characteristics or references from one franchise to the next. I guess you can say Kotone from the new HeartGold/SoulSilver remakes has a similar look to Mario as well since so many people apply the two, but yes, it only infers that games that are sold by the related manufacturers may share some similarity at times.
     
    This reminds me of how I noticed that Celebi and Link (legend of zelda) look a lot like each other. I mean they're green, they both are/own fairies, they both have time powers, etc... I should make a thread about that!

    Anyways, I already knew this about a year ago... yeah...
     
    No I wouldn't say that.. Tails is just to different from Buizel..
     
    Ah, Miles was also named Tails the fox and Miles tails prower.He's the best friend of sonic.Ahem....Look, I don't think It's going to be bad to what I am going to say, But...Is it...Bad if i like a bit more miles than buisel?I don't think anyone might ban me from the forum o_o'
