Okay so I'm playing Pokémon Sun, I have a Buneary which is now on full affection and level 50 and it's just not evolving, any tips? (no it's not holding an Everstone).

This tends to be understandably confusing for some people, but affection and happiness are actually two completely different values. you can max out affection but not necessarily max out happiness.
There's a happiness checker at KoniKoni city. If she says something like:
then you're on the right track and it should evolve soon. :o

It seems to be happy, keeps saying we're in perfect sync haha, I'll go check
